I finally got around doing this so here goes. The gist of it is that the MUGEN forum is missing a good moderator. The ex-moderator of the MUGEN forum is MIA and thus has been demoted. I'm fairly sure that no one in our currect staff is interested enough or has enough knowledge about MUGEN to effectively answer questions that might pop up there. Personally, don't want to delete the entire forum since it's quite clear that there are people who are interested and seek/give help. So, we are looking for one member that is interested in MUGEN, knows the ins and outs of said program (+ other software that is linked to it) and likes to help people with their problems. If you think you are up for the task, PM me (Agozer) or any other admin.

Mainly video game albums from high-profile japanese composers (Uematsu, Iwadare, Sakuraba, Nakano, Ueda, Mizuta, Tanioka, Kajiura, Nakagawa, Hibino, Sakimoto, Ito, Hirota, S.S.H., Zuntata, SuperSweep, etc.) I'm not a fan of many Nintendo soundtracks though. Yes, you can keep the CD images on your hard drive and use them with some virtual drive software with emulators. If you don't mind the space they take up, that is.

Copy the contents of the disc (both the data session and the CD audio tracks), get rid of the dummy file, make a new CD image with the files you have on your HDD, make the CD image selfboot and burn it. There is no simpler way to explain this.

It's not recommended to try and fit several games in one disc, unless you have a specific tool created for just that purpose. No, you don't have to convert CD images to some other format, unless you are using a burning program that doesn't support the image format in question.

There is a tool called satconv, that can force a certain region onto a CD image if it fails to get recognized even though you set the emulator region correctly.

I don't see the reason to "collect" any other games than you are willing to play yourself. And yes, many emulators these days require zipped romsets.
