Get WinRAR and extract the split archive with that. The .SFV (Simple File Verification) file is only used if you want to verify that the archives have no been tampered with nor corrupted in some other way. It's in no way a crucial file. Google for an SFV Checker if you want to use it.

I don't think DS emulation is in a really playable state, but I could be wrong. I do know there are translated versions of the original FF3 roms out there though. Many 2D only games work very well.

CamSpy has issues with the default plugins. Use Glide64 and a wrapper, although you need a fast computer and a good card for it to work smoothly.
