  1. I'd rather not take that route. I like to know what happens without having to spend 10 minutes minimum translating each sentence. While do know some japanese it isn't nearly enough to tackle a full-fledged JRPG. P.S. Fallout 3 is sweet, although the variety of choices presented to the player at any given time is perplexing.
  2. Lol, going back to PS2 after having PS3?!? Why of course. The lack of high profile JRPGs (aside from Eternal Sonata) being the cause.
  3. Persona 4 - currently enjoying the atmosphere in The Marukyu Striptease joint. :/
  4. Even though there is a download link, a link to the official website would be a nice addition to this post. Yes, the site is in japanese, but still.
  5. Unfortunately, renting video games in this country is more or less a futile effort, and it has been like this for more than a decade. The only thing that can be rented are movies. Then again, I haven't been a rentail store in ages, so I wouldn't know the current situation that well. I'll see if I can get this game somewhere for dirt cheap.
  6. How's Heavenly Sword and inFamous?
  7. Bioshock Devil May Cry 4 Eternal Sonata Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Ninja Gaiden Sigma Prince of Persia P.S. Isn't it Siren: Blood Curse? Ah, New Translation is the japanese subtitle.
  8. Blame Twilight and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
  9. To put it in a very concise way: It's great. The amount of little details and touches (nevermind the big ones) everywhere are mindboggling.
  10. When did I ever say I was sane? My post was intended as a general remark, not a direct response to you even though I quoted. Anyway, I prefer people who are at least a little insane. Be too sane, and you start being boring.
  11. No sane person would want to play games on the actual Virtual Boy, unless he's some collector and just wants the system in his collection.
  12. Metal Gear Solid 4, finally. The control scheme has gone through such an overhaul from 2 and 3 that I'm having a hard time dealing with it. OctoCamo ftw
  13. Just beat Echidna in DMC4. The bosses in this game are cool.
  14. Bayonetta already out. Long as sloading mar the game, so I am hoping to see an improvement in term of letting you install the game into HDD or not. I wasn't really referring to the japanese release, but whatever.
  15. Yeah, probably. Are there actual modchips for X360s or do people use some roundabout way to boot copies?
  16. Bayonetta. Nuff' said. Gran Turismo 5 is only for those who truly appreciate realistic driving simulations.
  17. Did you buy or rent this? Personally, I'll stay away from anything that has 'ATV' in the title somewhere. Goz' I don't buy or rent anything. Modded X360?
  18. Did you buy or rent this? Personally, I'll stay away from anything that has 'ATV' in the title somewhere.
  19. For someone who played a lot of games like GOW and DMC, you didn't dodge well?!??!? Berial is huge as a building and an equally huge-ass sword with ridiculous reach (and it's on fire to boot), so bleh. I'll rephrase: I suck at properly taking advantage of the "stretchy Devil Bringer arm" move which often gets Nero out of harms way. It's easier to dodge in GoW because you can just flick the right stick. P.S. I hate Berial's fire pillar move, even if it's an obvious throwback to the Phantom in DMC. Is it just me or is the move faster than Phantom's own? I'll get him eventually, just you wait. P.P.S. It's a nice change that red orbs are only used to buy items. EDIT: Yay, finally beat him and the next boss (that toad with "blue girlie lures"). Toad was much easier than Berial.
  20. I'd rather not resort to such cheap tactics in a game series like DMC. I'd much rather learn the quirks of the combat engine and deal with it my own way.
  21. Yeah, it really take a while to get used to all the attack options the game gives you. Even though the game is hard, at least you can block almost any attack and then roll out of the way. Still, the number of enemies the game throws you at once plus that they attack often and unpredictably certainly makes playing difficult. The first boss wasn't as hard as I expected it to be, but he can still mess you up bad if you're not careful.
  22. Yes, I know how to defeat Berial and what to do, I just happened to lose because I didn't dodge well enough. Geez, rip me a new one while your at it, why don't you. Like I said earlier, I don't have the money for newer games. I'll get some of them eventually, but not now. RE5 and Fallout 3 first, though. Plus, I don't think I'll bother with the GOW Collection, despite being in HD and all; it's enough that I already have the two games for one system.
  23. Oh yes, I've definitely heard of them. Just don't have the financial means to get them at the moment. As far as Ninja Gaiden Sigma goes, it's definitely Nintendo Hard, but that's balanced by the fact that it is a damn fine ninja game. P.S. Just lost to Berial in DMC4. Also, I don't quite understand how Exceed moves work. Too lazy to go to GameFAQs just for that.
