  1. The Cho Aniki aseries is pretty high up there on the weird list. Same with Parodius. There was this one obscure japanese arcade game that gets really high up on my list, but sadly I can't remember its name.
  2. Your question does not make sense. Haggar's site at http://haggar.emuunlim.com/ has one, and it's pretty old, but it shows you how to add cheats manually. I'm sure you can find newer cheat files for Kawaks if you just Google.
  3. Thread revival after 5 years is not the way to go.
  4. More like GC, Miskie and [probably, probably not] Gryph are leet with this shit. The rest of us are waiting for some signs of life from GC.
  5. Hatsune Miku on the game's title should be a dead giveaway. lol Vocaloid
  6. Xenosaga Episode I. Albedo is a nutjob, The Song of Nephilim makes you feel insignificant in comparison (though most structures in XS do).
  7. Xenosaga Episode I after a long break. The Dämmerung FTW.
  8. *Obligatory KILL IT WITH FIRE remark here* That's very Doom3/Prey-esque stuff. Gross as fuck, but somehow I'm once again mesmerized by how much weird stuff this world holds.
  9. I do actually. Then again, the only things I truly "pirate" these days via BitTorrent is anime/manga and an occasional PS2 game. There are some pretty good anime private trackers if you're interested. Speeds and content are unmatched, you'll usually always find a seed. Yeah, I know. I'm already a longtime member of one particularly large such site. The only real problem with them is that they don't carry licensed stuff.
  10. Silent Hill 3. Busting my way through with the Beam Saber, lol (acts as a handy secondary light source, too)
  11. Yeah, the first Stand Alone Complex revolves rather heavily around not only the Laughing Man incident, but the Tachikomas and their circumstances as well. My favorite "characters" in SAC (probably why I like the Stand Alone Complex game so much, too). The characters in the series are very well done and and none of the people in Section 9 really feel too much like secondary characters. Sure, people like Batou, the Major and Aramaki stand out because they're supposed to, but Togusa, Saito, etc. (and most importantly, the Tachikomas) get some time in the spotlight as well. The animation and soundtrack are top notch - a great series all in all, although I don't care much about Solid State Society because it's just a shorter re-telling of Strand Alone Complex.
  12. While some people would certainly [try to] dismiss Ghost in the Shell's storylines' underlying metaphors and references as "psychobabble that tries to sound deep and meaningful", personally I get a kick out of stuff like that - same can be said about the Xenosaga trilogy, to an extent. But yeah, one really needs to pay attention when watching any GITS production, otherwise this stuff will go over your head fast. Stand Alone Complex and 2nd GIG are my favorites, the orignal movie is OK while its sequel is the most difficult to follow properly. I should probably watch Innocence again.

  14. We were gone for a little too long, and a few features (that I don't particularly care about, though) haven't been put back into place. Of course, the emulation scene itself has been stale for ages now.
  15. I tihk most of us have known about IsoHunt for a good while now. Then only problem is that the site is in constant struggle with the industry even when things seem calm on the surface. So I'm not so sure how long IsoHunt will actually stay afloat.
  16. Well yeah, by the time Suprnova "came back", Mininova had already filled he void long ago, and still does. Thre is some activity on Suprnova, but it's nowhere near the same level as Mininova nad others. Regarding the TPB, I think that even though the site has been sold, one still has to remember that the bulk of TPB's "true" server power is scatter across the world. I don't see GGF harnessing all those servers for their legit service - even the TPB guys themselves don't know where the servers are located or who really operates them. Most likely someone will eventually erect a new BitTorrent tracker/site to utilize those servers, or if enough time passes, some completely new type of service in the vein of Bittorrent, Usenet, etc.
  17. I fear that with this move, the majority of the people on the Internet who know what kind of a history the TPB has simply won't bother with the "new" Pirate Bay anymore. Like the headline on Slyck said "Gone and Quickly Forgotten?" Then again, who knows, maybe Global Gaming Factory X really has some truly groundbreaking stuff up their sleeve. I don't know about any possible successors, though there's bound to be one eventually.
  18. Billy Mays who? Some completely and utterly American media personality/actor/singer/insert-occupation-here who doesn't really ring any bells outside the US? Am I even close? EDIT: Ah, Wikipedia to the rescue. I was right.
  19. Your English is very good, in my opinion -- at least comparing to similar efforts made by your countrymen online. I'm not generalizing, maybe I've just met the wrong kind of french people online, who knows. As clichéd as it sounds, practice makes perfect, so do take part in Lounge conversations.
  20. Good luck. Come back a better man.
  21. As much as I like baby pictures, for god's sake, think of the 56kers (Actually, think of the broadband users with monitor resolutions somewhere around 1280x1024 -1600x1200, too). All image processing tools can freely resize these days after all, and image hosting sites use thumbnails to top it off. You know, just saying. In any case, Welcome Back.
  22. Grid Wars 2 beats all of them hands down.
  23. My finger twitches restlessly on the Nuke button. Damn.
  24. Congratulations. Just be ready to wrestle with the record label suits when push comes to shove, and when they start to demand something akin to DRM to be included in your albums.
