  1. Fatal Frame II. Last (ok, Second-to-last) chapter and I have 83% of the Ghost List covered.
  2. Also known as the Command Prompt. As far as P2P applications go, index generation usually means that the program hashes the files you share, creating an index or indexes that facilitate other users' searches.
  3. It's called an image link. It's been in BBcode for ages.
  4. Fiddled with Project64 a bit. I haven't been using emulators in a long time, partly because of this arduous school project (Cisco CCNA) I'm in and then my PS2 takes the other part of my time. I should at least go through my MAME sets and see which ones still work with the newest version and which ones need updating.
  5. Either your Neo-Geo romsets are outdated. I good way to check if your ROMs are any good is to try and load a romset that is marked as "unavailable" (IIRC, Kawaks has a filter that lets you list all games and not just those that are considered to be 'Available' by the emulator) and then taking note of the error messages are generated.
  6. Do you use preset emulator settings or have you manually set some emulation option?
  7. Omamori Himari, SZS, Strike Witches, Haruhi FTW. Eh, Kanokon is always worth a few laughs, at least.
  8. It also depends on your version of No$Gba. Note that 2.6a is the latest, but it's for "donators" only. Besides, no NDS emulator is perfect enough to play everything you throw at any of them. No$Gba is pretty high update, as far as the latest version is concerned, though.
  9. Got my hands on a legit copy of Tales of Legendia.
  10. Someone attacked you, and killed you. Check the Forum Attack System subforum.
  11. Considering that TPB has it's servers spread across the globe, this might just mean a whole lot of nothing as far as the actual service goes The worst thing about this is that four people go to jail - those considered the frontmen, just because they were the one who handled the PR; they knew from day one that should things go to court, they'd be the ones taking the heat, despite TPB being run by numerous people with varying level of access to the infrastructure and code of the site. 'Tis is going to be an long, rugged path of appeals, though.
  12. Personal preference raises its ugly/beautiful/something-in-between head once again.
  13. I actually prefer the way PS2 does it. I think they work fine. In contrast, I can't stand the GC controller's pressure sensitive triggers.
  14. All the buttons on the PS2 controller are pressure sensitive (excluding Select and Start, obviously). It's another matter whether the adapter actually recognizes this.
  15. Journey to Silius. Has kickass title music.
  16. Integrated graphics chips made by AMD/ATi and nVidia fare surprisingly well in emulation in general. Intel chips are the absolute bottom of the barrel, save perhaps their newest model, and even then, I don't expect much from it.
  17. I just use a PS2 style controller. I either map the C-buttons to the four face buttons or to the right analog stick.
  18. It's pretty obvious that it's Gunstar Heroes.
  19. Sounds like your graphics card is very poor or you have an integrated graphics chip (manufactured by Intel, no less). That or your video card's drivers are to blame. Am I close?
  20. Damn. My condolences to his family.
  21. You might enjoy the VWF patch over at Romhacking.net.
  22. All the hidden characters, excluding Musashi Akatsuki are present in the arcade version. Same goes with the EX version. EX mode is a combination of Power and Speed, giving you the best aspects of both modes. You need to input codes to enable the secret characters and EX mode (a sequence of button presses starting from a specific character) at the Character Selection screen. As far as playing as Akatsuki goes, he's kind of nice to play as, although nothing too ground-breaking. As I haven't played the CD version, my experiences with Akatsuki are from the Neo-Geo Pocket version of the game
  23. I tried it for neoraine, yes it's much better now. With nebula the game was in japanese, but now it's in english, do you know why that is? The loading screens are still there, but they are not black anymore, it seems that neocd games just have a lot of loading screens. Most likely is has to do with the region switch of the emulated console, similar to what the actual Neo-Geo arcade games had. Yes, Neo-Geo CD games have a lot of loading screens and in most games when played on the original hardware, the loading screens are excruciatingly long. This makes the CD versions often far worse than their MVS or AES counterparts. As far as Last Blade 2 CD is concerned, you don't really get anything else except the arranged soundtrack - even though many consider the CD version to be the definite version because of the arranged soundtrack.
