  1. The very first topic in General Handheld. http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=17613
  2. Please read the stickied topic at the top of this forum.
  3. She's pretty damn hot, I'll give her that much. Third picture from the bottom wins.
  4. Something like that would cost an arm and a leg, and then some.
  5. Ultimately the resolution you use doesn't really matter. Unless that is, your computer/video card is so slow that it simply can't handle higher resolution without noticeable slowdown. I personally use 1280x1024x16 because I've noted that using 32-bit color can cause more slowdown in framebuffer-heavy scenes. If you use resolutions that are not 4:3, then you might want to force ePSXe to keep the original ratio (or not, if you don't might subtle distortion). If you are a purist, you'd naturally want use P.e.O.p.s software plugin, otherwise, if your video card and computer can handle it, use Pete's OpenGL2 plugin. For sound, SPU Eternal 1.50 beta 2 is probably the best. The rest of the plugins don't really matter.
  6. I haven't really bought anything off eBay except PS2 games, and they've hardly been bad purchases. If I'm going to buy anything from places like eBay, I'll make damn sure that the stuff I'm buying is really something I want and need.
  7. What is with this bumping? Seriously. Although Snow's post saved quite a bit.
  8. .... .... Yes. Just map them like you would map any key on your controller in MAME.
  9. This was not an evil bump. Fear not. I will not send gremlins to your into your computer.
  10. To be specific, Sony removed the Emotion Engine along with all the other hardware specifics of the PS2 in order to reduce the cost of the PS3. No no hardware-based PS2 backwards compatibility, but software. Which means that some of the backwards compatibility is still present, but many (most notably those games that make sure of the more advanced features of the PS2 hardware and the Emotion Engine in particular) do not work at all or work poorly.
  11. While I can understand that some people might run multiple instances of the same application, to this day I fail to understand why someone would want to do it with PC games.
  12. The last link is too German, so I apologize for not bothering with it.
  13. Considering that I never owned a console when I was a kid (spent my time at a friend's house playing DKC), the only thing I had was a Commodore 128 and a GameBoy. Out of those two, International Karate, Bruce Lee, and Super Mario Land 2 FTW.
  14. Donkey Kong Country. Man, that game had everything.
  15. Considering that I've never even seen a Pachinko machine in real life, plus the fact that from what I've heard about how they work and what their ultimate purpose is, it's hard to get interested. It's one of the few japanese things I've heard about a lot, yet I know very little about. I should probably head to Wikipedia and educate myself.
  16. Yes, that one. Alternatively, deleting the dc_flash_wb.bin file might help. Maybe.
  17. I used this tool in the past to purge Nero installations before upgrading. IMO either 6 or 7.10 are the most reliable versions anyway, even if they do lack the newer features. Thanks for that. I'll give it a look.
  18. The only problem is that nullDC refuses to recognize ISO images.
  19. I would upgrade mine, but for some reason, the OEM refuses to completely remove itself from my system, effectively screwing up the subsequent installation of the newer Nero software. Not that I mind, the OEM works well enough and it's not like there aren't lots of alternatives. I use DeepBurner and CDBurnerXP mainly.
  20. At the very least, they beat Intel's integrated chip offerings any day, and perform well even in emulation.
