  1. Well its easier to modify in other emulators, specifically Nebula. Or Kawaks for that matter. Hell, why not use NeoRAGEx? (No need for CRCs)
  2. Another one who was stumbling in the dark, but saw the light eventually... AOLspeak and L33tspeak are a curse of the digital age.
  3. Mr. G is right. Get DC++ and visit the Classic Sega Hub (classicsega.homeunix.com) and start asking around.
  4. The CRCs (Cyclic Redundancy Check) of the files in your romset doesn't match those that MAME expects. You'll have to find a corresponding set or start modifying the MAME source code. Or use a different emulator...but that doesn't always make things better.
  5. Me too, but I still use the good old WMP for those too....software/hardware limitations, you know. Getting back to the topic...At least in Windows 98, you could set some MIDI-related settings from Control Panel --> Multimedia...
  6. ...and times of calm returned once more....and I was right.
  7. The one in Shinobi PS2 I think
  8. I use WMP for Midis too...WinAmp for everything else...almost everything.
  9. Weirdanzeige isn't german. I'm pretty sure he's kidding. I know, but I just said it just in case he wasn't. Well you guys are dumb aren't you? Am I the one one that remembers anything around here? Ask weird, he's german. Like, dude, he's not.
  10. Meaning that it costs a fortune, but it's still awesome when one has it. I really don't need the extra features though.
  11. Ugh...this thread went from pretty awesome to lame pretty quickly.
  12. I think there are some but I can't name any titles. Yes, paying more is stupid.

  14. Dude, you should be able to do such a thing with MS Paint.
  15. All I can say is, check your volume settings (and not just the global volume).
  16. MOTW (non-prototype) does not work. KOF99 proto should work, although I acuired file that make it the official one. Sengoku 3, Ganryu and Burning Fight are on the list, But I guess your P1 roms are a bit funky (and Burning Fight, like World Heroes and Art of Fighting, is an MGD2 dump to boot) All those other games, except VLiner, Columns, Jockey Grand Prix, Poker Night and the MGD2 dumps.
  17. I like the idea that Sony should release multiple versions of the PS3. After all, I think consoles should stick to gaming and a DVD player for those (like me) who do not have one.
  18. Well, if the problem is about file associations, that doesn't mean that the midis won't play...I think one can set the associations again from the Media Player settings.
  19. It's fine that it's free, but I've never been too keen with these console game updates...Somehow I get the feel that the quality of games will lower and then the developers start fixing the mistakes and bugs with these updates.
  20. Are you sure the M1 is named m1d.bin in your romset?
