  1. Yes you put the audio tracks in the same folder where the disc image and the cue file is. Rip the audio tracks into WAVs and edit the CUE file so that each track after the first data track defines the WAV file to be used. Like I showed earlier, like: FILE "Track02.wav" WAVE TRACK 02 AUDIO INDEX 01 23:22:31 . etc. Then mount the CUE file. This should mount the disc image as well as the ripped audio tracks. You can put the audio tracks in another folder if you want to, but then you have to specify the path to the audio tracks in the CUE file (e.g. FILE "c:\tr2music\track02.wav" WAVE). Now, I'm no expert on this, since I rarely bother with Mixed Mode disc image, but this is how I would go about doing things.
  2. Let me reiterate: What I meant by same folder is the folder on your HDD that has the disc image and the CUE file, NOT inside the disc image where the game's data is. Example: You have a folder named "Tomb Raider" and it's contents are. tr.iso/img/mds/nrg/whatever tr.cue/ccd/whatever track01.wav track02.wav . . etc. contents of the CUE would be something like FILE "tr.iso" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE1/2048 INDEX 01 00:00:00 POSTGAP 00:02:00 FILE "track01.wav" WAVE TRACK 02 AUDIO PREGAP 00:02:00 INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "track02.wav" WAVE TRACK 03 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 . . . etc.
  3. The Universe BIOS is still at version 2.3 the last time I checked. EDIT: No. make that 3.0, but that was released last September.
  4. You also need to update your romsets because:
  5. The only way I know that Daemon Tools is able to work with Mixed Mode disc images is that you need to mount the image information file (be that CUE, CCD, etc) that has the necessary info on the data track as well as the audio tracks. This means that the disc image and the redbook audio tracks have to be in the same folder and the audio tracks have to be dumped as WAVs.
  6. Great news. Better dust off my Model 2 romsets now.
  7. Legaia 2: Duel Saga. Underrated, although starting to show its age.
  8. I still don't think that you should give up masturbation entirely. I mean sure, if you make the little fairies in charge of creating the product overwork themselves, the quality of the product will decrease. Seeing as the product they create in turn creates life, a decrease in quality is something you don't want. Give them little scrotum fairies some slack from their pace of work (and a few months off even) and they'll work more rigorously in the future and the quality of the product will once again soar. Customer satisfaction is guaranteed.
  9. No, unless the game itself has a Mono option in either its DIPs or the Test/Service Menu.
  10. You resurrected a thread for this? Utter failure. Warning and lock.
  11. This. Plus, strong emphasis on the words "very strong willed". Props for talking about this decision of your too.
  12. As long as Windows properly detects the controller, Start MAME and run a game, then Press Tab and configure your buttons.
  13. Dudes and dudettes need to chill out.
  14. I haven't started with this yet. Might as well.
  15. There isn't any "specific" settings to use. The only possible change in speed would occur when changing renderers, and even then the change is marginal at best. Although AFAIK, the nocash renderer is less buggy. Plus, 2.6a has lots of speed tweaks. Don't know if it will make a difference in Pokemon Diamond, but still, those speed tweaks and other improvements are global.
  16. Emulation Options --> 3D Renderer. It's either nocash, opengl or none. I'm using 2.6a, but IIRC, 2.6 has those too. Or not.
  17. DS emulation isn't the speediest thing out there at the moment. Some games will work fine while others will choke badly. It depends on the game. Of course, having a faster processor always helps somewhat. Still I have to ask: What version of No$Gba are you using and which renderer are you using?
  18. By that description it is almost positively Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon. Still, if you say that it's definitely not it, then... Is there anything else you remember? Anything at all? My second guess is Guardians. I don't know any other horizontal beat 'em ups that would fit those criteria you gave.
  19. You need to update your Neo-Geo BIOS files.
  20. Contract Killers. A 1998 movie starring Jet Li. As usual, the English dubbing was hilarious, and the movie itself was kinda bad. It was still entertaining I guess.
  21. Hardly. Just very different.
  22. Warriors Orochi 2 for the PS2 has been out for god knows how long.
  23. You could have made your own thread, enaven. What is with these thread resurrections for no good reason these days? Grave digging without a damn good reason. fail.
