  1. Yeah well...Stellaview never made it to the states either, and was canned pretty quickly although quite a number of BS games were made.
  2. That's the beauty of it. Apparently you disregarded the great story and judges the game only by it's graohics and gameplay. The real reason why the game was so different from other RPGs is because the game was developed and released only for the BS Stellaview for the SNES. You couldn't have a full-size RPG for it, since you downloaded the BS games via the network at certain hours.
  3. Bleh, I own them up either way. PS, I would argue you on that point. In the PS2 version, they are availiable to choose as long as you beat survival mode. My buddies use Athena and Red Arremmer on me and they're not that strong. In the Arcade and the AES (The Neo-Geo). We weren't talking about the PS2 port. Sure, SNK Playmore has toned down Athena and Red Arremer as they can be unlocked via the Survival Mode.
  4. Or you can find SVC and then use Poirot's hacks to enable the bosses and secret characters. Use FileMirrors.com just in case.
  5. umm you forgot that Chrono Cross came after that garbage called Radical Dreamers so we need a Chrono Trigger 4 Radical Dreamers wasn't garbage, just a different kind of RPG that people weren't used to (which is probably why it never made it to the states). Radical Dreamers is a prequel to Chrono Cross.
  6. Try http://rgdc.webhop.biz, but don't count on it.
  7. Ah....yes, I slightly misread his post. It's really weird that the games are switched like that...But does it really matter so much if the game works...
  8. There is some preliminary work in MAME regarding Hyper Neo-Geo 64, but nothing is considered "emulated", since the board *supposedly* have some kind of protection. It may take a long while before this emulation is even reality.
  9. Besides, I would like the fact that KOF would have the same kind of graphical look as Soul Calibur 2. KOF needs the comic/anime-style look.
  10. I agree with all the above statements. NeoMaster, you should really grab Vampire Savior 2 and play it. It's a damn good game and would mix well with Sammy's roster.
  11. What part of Australia you from??? And K'Dash the only freebie I could give you is the pleasure of looking at the hot chicks sunbathing topless around our pool I'd take those freebies anyday. Sadly, I've never been to Australia...
  12. Oh so true...But I'd like at least see this Vs. game, as the concept of Darkstalkers being in it is interesting.
  13. My god that engine looks orgastastic......The stained glass lighting stuff was just O_o
  14. I think the SVC Chaos(Boss Version) is pretty much like the Plus version without the PLUS text in the title screen....I'm not sure though since I rarely use hacks.
  15. The dance remake of "Final Countdown". I don't remember when it came out though.
  16. The game looks cool, but I hope that going 3D won't ruin the game....
  17. Why do most of the people here seem to wait for fighting game sequels? What about platformers, puzzle games, FPSes.... Sure, this thread featured something new from every genre, but fighting games are in a dominant position.
  18. I always like waiting new game releases rather than hardware/technology solutions. Oh yeah....Final Fantasy XII.
  19. The Chaos is just Chaos. Plus. has a PLUS added to the title screen and all the secret characters unlocked. @StriderSkorpion: The reason why the gamelist shows both Chaos and Plus as available is because how the P1 is constructed. You'll get rid of the double when you start hacking the P1 with Poirot's P1 hacks.
  20. This is exactly why I haven't modded my PS2 yet or fixed the lens and whatnot. I'm a total klutz when it comes to fixing/modding actual hardware.
  21. Hahahahahhahahaha. ROFL. Yeah, I'd like to see a new Duke Nukem.
  22. Because those are "cool" and "neat", but they are just transparencies. I don't understand what the fuzz is about.
  23. Fine, fine....let's get to it... Is your PS2 the old model or the new model? As some people said already, the data on the CD can't damage the disc drive. As for your modchip, it is an older model but I don't see how it can be the cause of those weird noises. Some PC games that I've bought also make a whole lot of noise when the spin my my CD-ROM drive, while others don't. I can't give an exact answer why the console wouldn't boot your games...I'd blame the modchip, but I have very little experience with those.
  24. Links please. Yeah, Unreal has always set graphics standards to a new level.
