Sure, the people might not be armed with flamethrowers, but when the discussion drift totally off the track....someone should at least make a note what the original topic was about.
Yes but some FF games tend to take a long time to beat. Well FFVIII for me because i got bored at the final boss and decided just to leave Squall right there after playing for so long and trying to get every single thing in the game. Ultimecia boring? Nononono, I'd call her forms kickass.
127.0.0.1 is the localhost address. GameCop is at fault somewhere. No, I am not at fault, it does say 127.0.0.1 as his IP. Ooooh...STICK! Agozer got pwn3d. Oh well...Then axl is really a forum both or he's putting out a false IP. Anyway, if GC say that 127.0.0.1 is really true, then I have to believe him.
i think thats what they called "tearing". if you have the option, turn on triple-buffering for smooth scrolling. VSync and Triple Buffering combined. Or then just VSync.
Theres already a game like that, it's called Postal 2. You run around doing nothing and when ever you want you can just pull out a gun and shoot people, that and GTA III. That kind of interactivity was tried with that "awesome" PC FPS, Jurassic Park: Forgot the Subtitle. You were able to twist and manipulate your arm in real time and it had a very impressive physics engine. But the game bit ass. That was not Jurassic Park, that was Trespasser. I actually owned that game once. Yeah that's it. But its based on the Jurassic Park world. Dreamworks made that train wreck of a game. Yeah, it was heavily based on Jurassic Park. I liked it for a while, since you ACTUALLY had to aim when shooting.

Yes, a damn shame since v1.3 has cheat entries for SVC, SSV, KOF2003 and MS5. However, v1.3 would work with the KOF2003 hack, if you replaced the S1 rom. Sadly, the new S1 gives more errors to the game itself, graphicswise.
Get yourself the Universe BIOS from -Link removed. Read board rules.- it has a built-in cheat database for most of the games (not all though) + many other cool features. If you want to make your own cheat codes for Neo-Geo games, you'll have to use Kiwi_slt's Neo-Geo Genie BIOS, which can be found from -Link removed. Read board rules.- (If you want my opinion, I really wouldn't use that since the Universe BIOS has everything you need.)
Every topic goes off-topic sooner or later. On axl's case, he went off by 100 miles or more and his initial question was in the wrong forum to begin with. Therefore, GC's reply was more than justified.
Becuase by now you should have known or "already did" do what you needed to do so, everything else is just plain spam, kinda like this post. I am going over there tomarrow. Everybody, hold your breath now...let's see if Fatal has learned anything from our "advice".
