  1. Nice info there ForceX. Now if I could only get my hands on a PS3...
  2. Why would you need hacks when most (read: all) CPS emulators have built-in cheat databases. That database holds everything you need, and if you need more than that, you are out of luck.
  3. We are not defending Frost's claims (at least I'm not), but rather discussing technicalities.
  4. Yes...your soul! MUAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA! hahahahahahahahaha No. hahahahahahahahahaha © Soul
  5. It is nearly impossible to compare PC rpgs with console ones. PC rpgs all seem similar, most of them being based on dungeons and dragons. I don't mind that of course, as long as the games are good, but PC RPG games are getting to mainstream, all following the same old and tired formula, to afraid of trying anything new and exciting. Well, I guess that's what consoles are for ey' The title of the thread is Best RPG OPINION Thread! Here's my opinion, console RPGs suck and are for simplistic morons that want to walk around with anime characters and listen to crappy fantasy music. Just kidding ofcouse, I like console RPGs. How are PC RPGs getting to mainstream? Console RPGs seem to be the most popular and what everyone seems to be playing. PC RPGs are a tiny niche trying to compete against the console games. Have you played Neverwinter Nights? Knights of the Old Republic? Fallout? Morrowind? Hey hey, chill Mr. G...Don't diss console RPGs so openly in my presence. I love Fallout 2 other PC RPGs, but please, this is he "Best RPG opinion thread", not "Why console RPGs suck and PC ones do not." Now that I've got my rant out of the way, I'll drop the bomb with Diablo and Diablo II. I was kidding... I even said I was. Some of my favorite RPGs are console: Breath of Fire 2, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy 6. But what he said about PC RPGs being mainstream is wrong...so I responded with a joke and then some serious questions. Fair enough....PC RPGs are definitely not "mainstream" in the true sense of the word.
  6. Does that mean it didn't make you go "awesome"? Sure, it can do a lot better, but surely it wasn't that bad? It made me go "Hmm...ok. Pictures of people who are better at KOF than me. Bah humbug!" But the site is really purple. Too many pre-website pages. It's not that bad, but it could use some work. Yes, it could use some work. And the site being pink, well...if I put it bluntly, a pinks site is kind of gay. But the site has some potential.
  7. It's not. Just another way of killing time and getting to know a bit about the people here, since the posts in "Hi! I'm new here!" are kinda short on info.
  8. I couldn't have said it better myself.
  9. Yeah, things seem faster. Kudos to miskie.
  10. Computer fan humming... Now that's something to get jiggy with.
  11. Heehaw! Captain Novolin on the SNES - a good example why norwegians shouldn't be developers. http://www.encyclopedia-obscura.com - read it and laugh.

  13. Toxic Avanger is teh l337. Troma makes good films.
  14. I just did...All I can say is O_o Well tell him to post here so we all know how much of a giant he is. I'll save him the trouble: In ForceX's words: "I'm 7'11'' ". Well he's Indian so he probably got confused because he works at 7-11. "Would you like Big Gulp with dat? Dank you verry much, please come again." FreshyK...you never stop making me LMAO...... And Agozer I am 6'11....I was tired last night and accidently wrote 7'11 I don't consider that a giant... Hehe, thank you thank you. And thank you Fatal for that generous comment. 1emualation wouldn't be the same without your major ballin' personality. Force, you're 1 inch from being 7' tall. When you wear shoes you're probably like 7'1"! Where have you got your sense of humor?
  15. War Gods, doesn't get much "better" than that. Pit Fighter doesn't count here, nothing will top that.
  16. What? Vegnagun? Don't spoil it for me now. No, not Vegnagun -- though Vegnagun wasn't much either. Let's just say if you can beat Angra Maniyu, you'd have no trouble with the last bosses. Anyway, I get the impression you already know who/what the last boss is -- as obvious as it already should be from the story. On a different note, I heard good things about the earlier Suikoden series on the Playstation (can't find it though ), but also heard almost everyone bashing on the Suikoden PS2 release. So...I suppose try out the earlier ones, and maybe give the PS2 one a rent. Personally, I've been thinking of getting into Vagrant Story, but it seems almost unanimous that this is quite a challenging game; and the box puzzles and assembling weapons does not sound appealing. Maybe I'll try Shadow Hearts, though I've almost no clue what it's about, but it's only 20 bucks. Yeah, I have a pretty good idead who/what the last boss is. I'd still urge you to try Vagrant Story, if you can get it somewwhere at a reasonable price. Although there's no guarantee that you'll really like it. As with most Final fantasy games, the final bosses are not very hard, at least not compared to the optional/secret ones. Of course, it has become a sort of standard.

  18. Possible similar to a TrackBall. It's easier on the wrist.
  19. Well lets hope you make the right decision. And my countdown to 3:00 PM Thursday begins, for that is when Spring Break begins. My day continued April 5, 2004 12:00 - I eat a bag of chips for lunch. 12:30 - I run a Nitrite test on soil sample number 12-03-101. Results come out to zero. 1:00 - I go to Organic lab. We follow the lab procedure. 2:00 - The experiment doesn't work. It sucks. 2:30 - I go back to work and run a nitrite test on soil sample 12-03-102. Results come out to zero. So far my day sucks. Hahah...Never give up. Slap that soil sample around and show who's boss.
  20. I just did...All I can say is O_o Well tell him to post here so we all know how much of a giant he is. I'll save him the trouble: In ForceX's words: "I'm 7'11'' ". Actually the great ForceX is 6'11. He must have told you that by mistake buddy. Even so.
  21. What are you talking about? It loads just fine. Anyway, no XORs yet.
