  1. 1. If they are going to appear for any emulator, it's going to be for MAME first and foremost. 2. No MAME repository has sufficient info regarding the Fore games, so that usually means that you won't be hearing much of anything about these for a good while. 3. It's also very likely that the Fore games run on completely new Incredible Technologies hardware, and the roms aren't even dumped, let alone having preliminary drivers.
  2. f you are going to ask something, makes sure people understand what you're asking. Also, if you are going to ask for websites that have games, don't bother. You are asking for roms that way. Maybe I should just add a warning for you right now, so I don't have to do it later...
  3. NBA Jam still is awesome^10 even today. Now that was/is a great basketball game.
  4. Thanks for your hard work. I always like detailed sites with screenshots as sprite rips of various stuff, not to mention movelists and boss galleries. Really nice work you've done.
  5. I remember Midway releasing Shadow Hearts: covenant in Europe, but alas they just acted as a publisher. Outside of that, I haven't really seen games with the Midway logo in there somewhere. EDIT: I take that back. According to GameFAQs, Midway has released tons of games for all platforms. Only a handful of those games are worth one's time, though. Lot's of canceled games, too.
  6. ....Not to mention the huge gap between US and PAL releases, even today; if PAL gamers ever get a release at all, that is.
  7. The type of video card or the speed hard disk you have ultimately doesn't matter so much, and are almost meaningless in terms of emulation performance (the only exceptions being integrated graphics chips). What matters is how fast your processor is. Emulators never rely on the capabilities of the graphics card as much as PC games do (the hard disk even less), and to give a heavy generalization, a video card is only needed by an emulator to output an image. Dreamcast emulation is slightly different beast however, due to the complexity of the DC video hardware. More often than not, a Dreamcast emulator requires a video card to have hardware-based Transform & Lighting support; a feature that most integrated chips lack. A video card with 128MB of memory will do just fine for the most part, and all cards in the past 8 or so years have hardware T&L support.
  8. Great. Is this a program or some kind of "other" trick? EDIT: Going by the name, it's a program right?
  9. Finish the underground first racing level in one go in Battletoads, and I'll acknowledge that you are rather good at the game.
  10. No snow here, yet. We'll see if this winter will be like the last few where all we go was one day of heavy snow in mid-February. Then the snow melted in a few days and then we (once again) saw no snow.
  11. Devil May Cry 2. Holds up fairly well on its own if you're not constantly judging it against the other games in the series.
  12. Mother 3. The game lives up to the quirky humor of its predecessors.
  13. I was waiting for someone to summarize this entire thread, and I just got my wish.
  14. Many CD burning software (if not all) can rip a disc into an ISO image. CDBurnerXP especially.
  15. You want to download the Flash browser plugin, not the Flash Player. :/
  16. I give the same advice to all VBA people: Try the latest build of VBA-M. VBA 1.8 is older than ancient.
  17. Oh wow, Toy Story 2 with a completely different feel. Too bad the actual movie doesn't do justice to that trailer. :/
  18. Too hi-tech for my old bed-ridden rig.
  19. Every Neo-Geo game has both an Arcade mode and a Console mode built-in. The arcade mode is just what it says, with coin inputs and all that. Console mode is the one with an options menu, often a practice mode, four continues, etc. etc. It's been a while, but you can switch to Neo-Geo Console mode in MAME by switching to the Neo-Geo AES BIOS, or through the DIP settings in MAME's in-game menu. My memory fails me, so someone else can fill in.
