To my knowledge, one does not need a different P1 to play SVC in EGCG NeoRAGEx. At least, I didn't. Anyway, back on topic...I haven't used the search at all, so I wouldn't know...
Does your Twinkle Star Sprites have messed up sound? I have to turn the FM off when I play that because it's all static-y. And I prefer Blazing Star over Pulstar. Well probably because my sound for Pulstar is flocked up too. The sound works perfectly in my Pulstar and Twinkle Star Sprites sets. M1 problem for you?
Poirot is trying to get that KOF2003 P1 thing working. Nothing solid yet, though. As for Metal Slug 5, I honestly don't know...I have it, I'll send it. PM me. Unless someone provides a link, which makes my life a bit easier.
Baseball Stars 2. That game kicks ass especially with a human opponent. Pulstar. Hard as hell, but well worth the trouble. Awesome visuals. (See: Blazing Star) IronClad (Neo-Geo CD only though) How can you forget Last Blade 2!? [/menacing voice] Twinkle Star Sprites and WindJammers: Awasome 2P action.
I suggest you do the same !! just because you like kiddie warez does not mean the rest of us have to be like you. Right on. Games should be played as is, not with hacks/cheats that give you endless fat mode/unlimited something...Unless a cheat involves getting hidden features unlocked.
That's what I asked... @Frost: It's hard because of the CPS-3 board's encryption routines. And because Razoola's a lazy-ass. He's a smart guy, I'll give him that, but he really does take a long-ass time to do anything. Yeah, just look at his Uni-BIOS project.
A MAMEdev has borken the encryption of some ZN games (Raystorm and NBA Jam Extreme to name a few). R. Belmont posted some stuff here, and you can find more info on The Guru's site.
Honestly Gryph, do you really care so much about the dialogue in a fighting game? Why don't you just change the region of Vampire Savior 2 into USA? That's what I did and it works like a charm. What happened to calling me Mr. G?! Wait, I thought the Japanese version was ONLY in Japanese. I didn't know you can change the region in Japanese versions of games. Well thanks for that bit of info. That totally makes my question useless. And you're right about the dialogue. But whenever I see Japanense text, I just have to know what is says so it pisses me off that its in Japanese. I feel like I'm missing out on some huge secret. Off to get Jap version! Sorry...Mr. G I'll be more careful next time.
I'd suggest that you buy a Microsoft Sidewinder gamepad, though some people disagree with me here. Gravis GamePad Pro maybe? Some people drool over X-Arcade...Important note: Don't buy a joystick.
