  1. You might want to keep those size tags to a minimum, especially when you don't know how to use them. Welcome.
  2. Solid Snake. Just because he has optic camouflage.
  3. Personally, I use neither for CPS-1. It's either the good old Callus (yes, you read right) or the newer FBA builds. Simply speaking, the reason you can get the game to work with MAMEUI is because the romset you have is too old, and not supported as is by MAME.
  4. You "incorporate" them by putting the files in the romset, though chances are that you'll find a full romset for the game instead of just single files. MAME32K can play the game because it doesn't emulate the PALs and thus does not need them, while 0.127 does.
  5. Yes, I mount disc images via Daemon Tools, and use ePSXe's Run CD-ROM option. Of course, the CD-ROM plugin has to be configured to read from the right drive, naturally. If the game is properly ripped, it doesn't really matter if you have a disc image; it's just as good as the original copy.
  6. It'll be done eventually. There has been some discussion regarding a new Download section.
  7. Certain games get problematic when booted via that method, but I don't remember if Megaman Legends 2 was one of them. Worth a shot anyway. I never used that feature myself.
  8. I can't really tell you anything that I haven't already told you; there are no specific checkboxes that you should tick or anything of that sort. Although... how are you loading the disc image? Are you using the direct loading that's coded into ePSXe or are you mounting the image with virtual drive software (like Daemon Tools) and booting the game from there?
  9. Please refrain from digging up threads that have been buried for nearly a year. This thread has bene long forgotten. Start a new one if you feel like asking question. As for your question: You do nothing. Stop using Refresh Lock. It's clear that said can cause instability, and other problems. What are our computer specs anyway?
  10. Checked Help --> About. Mine clearly says 1.7.0. Tested the game, no problems apart from slight desync in the lipsync (ha). What integrated graphics chip do you have in that laptop of yours? Do note that the perceived performance in regular PC games can't be directly compared to emulation, especially when integrated graphics chips are involved.
  11. lol Shinobu Correction: The latest version is 1.7.0, Furthermore, if your PC (and video card) can handle it, you should be using Pete's OpenGL2 plugin, it is much better than the regular OGL one. Check Pete's homepage for that. After that, you might want to tell us what kind of settings you are using with the OGL2 plugin.
  12. You aren't doing too shabby yourself.
  13. Sin & Punishment and Mishief Makers were developed by Treasure, so it's no wonder why these games in particular are made of awesome. Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Paper Mario are my picks.
  14. I don't. That would be too depressing. I'm just going to ride this one out and see what happens.
  15. Bahamut Lagoon is a mix of traditional JRPG + T-RPG. It's good, but somewhat difficult at time. P.S. Prepatched RAWMS are evil.
  16. Wrong place. Moving. Back on topic, what graphics chip do you have on that laptop and when was the lat time you updated its drivers?
  17. Uh, stupid question: A frontend for what? EDIT: MAME?
  18. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, perhaps? EDIT: Oh yeah, that movie is not very recent.
  19. Mudlord was the only one who got tired of the multiple versions of VisualboyAdvance, with each version offering something the others didn't have. This was around the times when the official VBA had been dead and buried for a long time. So he decided to create VBA-M, which more or less brought all the features of the other VBA emulators into one package. He has also worked on Glide64 and the associated Glide wrapper. I wish that he'd still continue working on VBA-M with all the othre contributors, since IIRC, many of the planned features aren't in yet.
  20. 20-odd folders, probably a hundred bookmarked sites.
