NeoRAGEx doesn't recognize.bins, rename. The Import bug manifests itself when you click Import and the program kicks you back to desktop. The import bug is still there, if you just replace an old version of NRX with the new EXE. Deleting the.ini file solves this. EGCG plays Samurai Spirits V, Capcom Vs. SNK Chaos and Metal Slug 5 (MS5 needs a hacked P1 to work.)

I actually played Metal Slug 1 in a dedicated cabinet at a local drug store, and I was hooked after that. You can imagine the adrenaline rush when I found the actual rom about a year later.

Are your romsets zipped and are the files inside in format "xxxxx_xx.rom"?

Metal Slug X was a great update for Metal Slug 2. Although it was the same game as 2, it still kicked major ass with the occasional palette changes and all that.
