  1. No. It's not supposed to happen... Mine works fine.
  2. I never liked Capcom's combo system either. It's the shizzz.
  3. The Kazaa Lite site was shut down recently, but that desn't mean it's gone. I still use my old copy and it good.
  4. Then your romset is bad or it doesn't have all the required files.
  5. It was a link in this forum. Most likely it's down now.
  6. EGCG NeoRAGEx... Get it from http://www.neogamez.net i have this emulator and when i try to start it up, it just brings me back to windows. i have it in the same folder as my metal slug 5 hacked neorage. is there a problem here? Make sure that you don't have a second NeoRAGEx executable in the samer directory. Also, the program crashes during import because of a bug in ZLIB.DLL, get an older version of that file.
  7. Older MAME games should be compatible with never versions of MAME. Although there's romset name changes sometimes.... Damn, if Mame.dk would still be around, you should have gone there and verified your romsets.
  8. You don't need any sort of patch to enable blood. Just turn on the test dip switch, reset the game, and go into the software dips for the game and turn blood on. Indeed. Why don't people understand the importance if the Soft Dip settings in Neo-Geo games, even though the Test Menu button is a documented feature in every emulator.
  9. Good thing it works for you now. MS5 has worked for me in NRX for a while now, but there's a bug in the last boss music (similar to MS4 boss music bug, but I found a fix for that). Bad V roms, you see.
  10. The required files are in the ZIP file, correct?
  11. James has made his own MAME build with all that (I suppose). Why would you go through all that trouble to make something yourself when somebody has already done it. Besides, the net is full of custom MAME builds to choose from, if you just bother to look. As for why it doesn't work, ask james.
  12. Yes you're right, the link works now. I meant that you must not unzip the romsets themselves, unless the set (zip) is inside another archive. I this case, it is.
  13. Does MAME give any other info about the missing roms?
  14. Why would you want to do that? Most Neo-Geo games require 4 V roms to work properly. You'd need some l337 skills to combine rom data together.
  15. Kaillera Server is a server that hosts online games via Kaillera. Kaillera started out as an online play feature for CPS-2 (CPS-1 too?) games in Final Burn Alpha and has then found it's way into other emulators as well (Such as Kawaks). You'll need the Kailleraclient.dll in order to play online. I don't know the technicalities of the Kaillera network play, because I've never used it myself. Disoblige can fill in the necessary info (and correct me if I'm wrong). I hope this clears the fog a little.
  16. try renaming all the KOF97 roms to 232-xx.bin. (xx being c1, c2, etc.)
  17. The -Link removed. Read board rules.- NRX links do not work. Futherrmore, You must not unzip the games if you want to play them in NeoRAGEx.
  18. I don't usually subscribe to anything like that, but if I would have to make a choice, I'd go with GameSpot Complete.
  19. It doesn't show up at the bottom of the list as romname.zip?
  20. I'll say again: If you're using NeoRAGEx... Samurai Shodown V needs the EGCG NeoRAGEx hack. As for SVC, your P rom might be funked up. Also needs the EGCG NeoRAGEx hack. As for Metal Slug 5, it appears at the bottom of the list and you'll need the special NRX hack + P1 rom to play it.
  21. The PS2's Disc Speed option usually breaks stuff than speeds things up. I don't use it. Ever. As for FFIV and FFV, you could just download the SNES roms, since it's the same game. If you really want the PSX version, go for it. I haven't experienced any slowdowns or anything like that (or then maybe I don't just notice it). What is FF Chronicles exactly? Do you mean FF Origins?
