Indeed. To be honest, I think I'm slowly drifting into this "Guy Friend" with a very good "friend" of mine. Not there yet 100%, but still.

I haven't played this game thanks to all the bad rap I've been hearing, but the soundtrack si awesome. Such a shame really. Well, I could probably get this game used for a ridiculously cheap price, but it's hardly a valued item, unless of course, you happen to be a collector and a die-hard FF fan. Drakengard 2, thanks.

nullDC should be able to load CD image file by using File --> Normal Boot just fine. What game are you trying to run and does the Dreamcast menu load properly (by not selecting a CD image and then answering Yes to boot without one)?

X-2 is girly, which is, in my book a welcome change. Why? Because it's a nice contrast to the male leads prior.

If I had to choose mine would be FFVIII, followed by FFVII. I'm more of a GUST fan these days, but Final Fantasy still gets my attention and love as a gamer.

The system is quite on the innovative side here, and I love how everyone has an assistant that can be used in combos and supers (whatever they're called here). Also, the money and using it in mid-fight is also cool.

Well, arcade hardware is costly to produce, fa more so that home consoles, and the hardware naturally requires arcade centers willing to buy them as well as gamers. Gamers these days have largely moved into the conform of their own homes and gaming consoles, leaving arcade hardware manufacturers and arcade centers in a tight spot business-wise.

I really don't get why some many "professional" game reviewers and gamers alike loathed killer7. Too weird for them, perhaps? In any case, I like them game. Does really weird things (or takes age old gameplay concepts and twists them) and presents them in an even weirder fashion - my kind of a game. P.S. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus. Is it just me or are the controls in this a lot more tighter?

If you have a fetish/fantasy, go with it. It's not my business and I most likely don't want to know any details, but I won't go around chastising you because that fetish. There are far more disturbing things in the world than raping monsters/tentacles/futa/add one. At least the japanese are bold enough to be open about their fetishes. Hell, an entire section of the entertainment industry revolves around them, and it's hardly a secret.

Let's get something out of the way here: If a anime has female nudity, that doesn't make it hentai. What makes an anime hentai is the inclusion of sex, be that hardcore, softcore, bondage, tentacles, etc. Anime that has female nudity or sexual overtones if ecchi and has nothing to do with hentai until it moves from simple T&A to the actual sex. Back on track: I don't watch hentai because the storylines are usually trash - same thing in "regular" porn. To be honest, watching porn all the time (no matter how it might fit one's personal fantasies) gets boring fairly quickly. Now, ecchi is my kind of thing, not primarily because of the T&A, but because it provides a great source of comedy as well as a way of creating Guy(s) VS. Girl(s) situations - I personally like that type of storytelling. As far as the anime girls go, they are without exception, unnaturally beautiful, unless a girl was intentionally created to be "ugly", in which case said girl is almost always the comic relief or some of the background characters... or both.

I know that you're not the only one who has that problem, but increase the audio buffer size some more and update your audio drivers. Still, since the devs explicitly state that Vista users should use 2048, it's bound to work for someone.

Make sure that you don't have "Use Default Image" enabled.

What nullDC was trying to emulate when you selected the Keyboard plugin was the Dreamcast's keyboard addon, not the THE keyboard that is plugged to your computer. Select nullDC Controller [Winhook] (now nullDC is emulating the actual Dreamcast controller), and then go to configure the controls in Options --> Maple --> Port A --> Configure Keys of Player 1.

Nice too see someone reviewing old classics once in a while. I agree that the game is really frustrating at time (more so than what would be considered "healthy"), and the presentation is a bit lackluster; this can be forgiven, considering Crash was one of the PSX's early starters.

Brutal requirements, or I just suck at the game.
