Hmm, well I don't have anything against the top 2, I think they deserve to be there. The soccer games will always be there, being Britain. And as for Halo 2 and Half Life 2(both very good games)...they either have bad taste, or they are very good at seeing through enourmous amounts of hype and publicity - which isn't a bad thing.
Christmas is just family stuff. New Years Eve, me and a friend are renting out a hotel room and having a party. We will be inviting lots of people, including lots of chicks. Then we might go to a rave party on New Years Day.
I believe it is to be happy, within reason. Ie: as long as your happiness does not come from hurting others, or doing morally bad stuff like that. I believe it is also to try new things. "Living" is not simply existing in the box/mindset/ideology that you were born in - it is experimentation, changing your ways, going through new experiences. Trying new things also (usually) makes you happy, which goes back to my first point.
I liked Enter the Dragon, which is my fav Bruce Lee film, and The Young Master, which is my favourite JAckie Chan film. But my favourite martial arts movie is Bloodsport. It just has a certain magic for me.
That bothers me too. I have been happy with the yearly releases, bar 2001 and 99, but I am prepared to wait for a super special KoF. Good news in the main.
I always have warm milk with MILO (a chocolate additive) every night, and it puts me to sleep 99% of the time. I can't live without MILO. I say 99% because for the last two weeks, I have been going to bed at midnight, and not getting any sleep until 7 or 8 am. Even masturbation doesn't put me out.
I realise this isn't a full on RPG mod, but we should have classes! Thieves could steal money when attacking, assassins could do uber damage with backstab capabilities, fighters could be hard to kill, bards could push the stats up of others in their guild with song and music, wizards could have offensive and defensive magics, and clerics could heal and resurrect others. Crap...now I'm in an RPG mood. *Goes off to play Planescape: Torment and Baldurs Gate II*
Work Going out at night with friends Computer games Reading Writing Drawing Go to cricket Watch cricket on tv Try and find a new job Hopefully go up to Queensland next month for a holiday
I use to love Marvel comics. My favs were Iron Man, Silver Surfer, Punisher, Punisher 2099, Thunderstrike, Venom, and the Carnage series. But they seemed to suffer a slump - storywise and artworkwise - some years ago, and I lost interest. Still have the occasional look though.
I'm for the old guy too. I hate it when people broadcast their discussions, especially when using profanities. Just shut the f up, or take it elsewhere.
The scarey thing about remakes of old games is that they can turn out shite. For example, Speedball 3000 (or whatever it was) should have been good, but it wasn't. But, if we are going with remakes: Gods - one of my fav games ever Xenon II Speedball II - give it another go The Chaos Engine Shadow of the Beast Chase HQ Fire Power Interphase Supercars One thing tho...I wouldn't like to see remakes in 3d. I think these remakes would look beautiful with really detailed, hand drawn 2d graphics, like on SF3 or Metal Slug. Remakes which have done so have been successful - see the Head Over Heels remake. However, the Chaos Engine in 3d, perhaps as a FPS, would be interesting. A new 3d Chase HQ game would be good too, if it could retain the coolness of the original. A 3d Supercars would be awesome!
I always had a crush on the blonde Russian chick in Captain Planet. And the episodes with Captain Pollution were so cool...I loved Captain Pollution. One cartoon I hated was Toxic Crusaders...that was lame.
I'd use it for good, definately, because doing good things gives me a buzz. However, I would also used it for my own personal indulgences on the side, after a hard day of do-gooding, out of the public spotlight.
I miss X-Men, TMNT, Voltron, Transformers, Thundercats, Silverhawks, Robotech, Astroboy, Ghostbusters, The Real Ghostbusters, old Looney Tunes (the new ones suck!), He-Man and Batman cartoons.
I say SNK. Capcom have made games that I grew up with, got addicted to, and will always be close to my heart. (GO KEN!!!) But SNK just does that extra bit more...not sure what it is. Maybe it's the speed, the combos, the multitude of characters, their different genres of fighting games which work so well. So SNK has my vote.
We used to do "Grass Ass" at school. You'd drag someone by their legs, with them on their back, across the paddock / football field. The grass, little stones, and bumpy and uneven ground would really hurt your ass and your lower back. And you would end up with a green grass stain on the back of your pants. It was either that, or "Stacks On," where everyone jumped ontop of someone else. Squish.
