I hope I don't come across too much as an MK fan boi But anyway, I gave my youth to MK. I loved it. Something just struck me about it... MK1 was a great success. So was MK2. MK3 and UMK3 didn't do as well as the others, but it technically still did well - reviews of it were good, conversions were good, it sold alot of copies and so on. Up until around then, Midway could do no wrong... and then... well, it was like, all of a sudden, overnight even, reviewers and critics started bagging MK. It really pissed me off to see reviewers, who a few months or a year ago, were hailing MK as one of the best fighting game series ever, to slag it off. Critics went from praising it to putting the series down. They went from saying it was a great fighting game to saying it was a stupid fighting game with gratuitous violence and lots of blood. It literally happened overnight. I remember me, still a MK fanboy even though I didn't think MK3 was crash hot, get extremely angry when I read stuff like this. How could reviewers and critics turn their back on the series so quickly? How dare they! It was like, WTF??? So I'm wondering what you thought of this, and what you think caused it, and what were the reasons. Was it just a string of not-so-very-good games (MK3, Mythologies: Sub Zero, Special Forces, MK4), or was it something else? It has taken until the release of MK 5, roughly 10 years since MK3 came out, for MK to become popular again.

Because I like taking lots and lots of screenshots, I'm wondering if there is a program that expands your clipboard so I can store more than 1 picture at a time before I have to go into a paint program and paste my screen dump? It would make life really easy in some situations, especially with games. Do programs that do this exist? Are they freeware?

But I don't get it...what's wrong with resurrecting old threads? Other forums love it when old threads are given new life with new opinions.

All I can say is "long live 2d!" It looks hot! I can't wait. But if Demitri is in it, they should seriously redraw him. Especially after how SNK made him look so badass.

Because for the most part Tekken 4 was garbage. It took a step backwards. The game play was so broken. Namco said that they have learned from there mistake and they are going to fix the game play, and also make the game more like VF. But in witch way I don't know. in my eyes...Tekken 4's only flaws were the inclusion of position changes (replacing the left limb throw commands) and the fact that there were only 3 new characters, but only 3 new movesets (since Jin changed styles, and Christie was merely a feminized Eddy) ...but the new environments were a big step up from the boring flat "carousel" stages in the past 4 games (1-3 and family reunion/tag) Sorry, but I must disagree. The "hittable things" in locations looked good for about 2 minutes, but it really ruined gameplay. It prevented moves and combos coming out properly, and restricted the flow of gameply, the flow that looks and plays so well on Tekken Tag Tourament (as long as you aren't a button masher.) TTT is my favourite Tekken, I don't see why everyone bags it. Plus, the combos went from being long, rich and beatiful ballets in Tekken 2,3 and TTT to boring poke - prod moves in Tekken 4. The combos in Tekken 4 were shocking!!!

This event has really struck a passionate chord in me. I was horrified when I saw it on the news. I can't stop thinking about it. I guess I'm too sensitive. I feel so sorry for him, and for his family, and feel so angry. I'm so sick of extremists, and the war, and all the bloodshed. I can't see why we can't live in peace. We are all human, despite out many differences. I wonder what coverage of this war (of this event) is having on our children who are watching the news. What are they going to think? The world shouldn't be like this. I don't like it one bit. I wish I could find a nice girl, one to spend the rest of my life with bathed in her beauty, and then move to another planet, away from it all.

I am exactly the same. Everything I eat in the morning tastes like crap. Yuck! I sleep in, and skip breakfast, apart from a hot chocolate and some orange juice.

On weekdays, about 1 -2 am, usually doing homework and stuff. I love doing homework at night - it is when my brain is surprisingly most switched on. And there is so much peace in the house. No peace during the day. On weekends, about the same time if I stay home, or much later if I go out.

Well, I never really liked co-op in platform action, so I don't care. I didn't like on some games how your partner could take your remaining lives if he was getting owned and you were doing well. I was like, "STOP TAKING MY flockING LIVES!!!!!"

I don't have exams, I just have alot of essays and assignments. I just handed one in today, and I have another due Wednesday, and other due in early June. So it's just work work work, basically. Go to library, fill my bag with books, take down notes and quotes, critique stuff, write, type, edit, proof read, etc. It has been a pretty tough semester - I haven't been out since February, and I am starting to feel it. I should be okay, hopefully. These holidays are going to rock. I miss my Shiny Disco Balls! I wish everyone else all the best.

Sport games suck. The only sport game I have ever enjoyed is Speedball 2.

That song "Annie" (I think), the remake of the Michael Jackson song by Alien Ant Farm. It was really cool at first...but the radio stations played it so god damn much that they killed it. I honestly remember hearing it on the radio and feeling like I was about to vomit because I had heard that song so much.

I made a computer game for school last year. Nothing too special, just a horror type game in Macromedia Director. I drew all the characters. I used Jenna Jameson, Sylvia Saint and Aria Giovanni as models for my female vampires, who try to seduce you to get at your blood. They were perfect models as vampire mistresses, because they have those sensual feminine curves and those tempting looks in their faces. I got a nice big shiny A for the game, so I was really happy with it. I worked my ass off for it. I remember reading the diary of a computer game designer who said he and his team literally ate at their desk, and slept beneath the desk when they were tired, such was their devotion and effort. I now know what he meant! Oops, sorry to take the thread back to porn!! I think Katie Holmes is okay, nothing special. I also had a thing for the woman who played April O'Neil in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Movie. (Not the first film, I didn't like that April. But the April in the second film was hot.) I also had a thing for the cartoon April...er...but we won't go into that.
