This might have been answered before, forgive me if it has. What version of Mame 32 Plus runs this rom? I downloaded version 0.79 and 2k3 won't show up. Or am I doing something wrong? Much thanks.

Perhaps I'm old fashioned...but telling people to upgrade their computer, or to upgrade their Internet connection, is so rude. "Yeah, I'll upgrade! Just gimme a second while I pull some hundred dollar bills out of my ass!" And anyway, why upgrade for when the PC games market is so crap? Doom 3, Dues Ex 2 and Thief 3 are the only highlights. I have the same problem with Steel Gunner 1 & 2. Reconfiguring the keys doesn't help. Can anyone help us?

I worked it out. I got Kawaks with a hacked loader.

Kof 2k2 and 98 are my favs. I hate strikers. I'll vote for 2k2. 2k1 had really good gameplay, IMO, but it was let down by really poor graphics, bad music, and a stupid end game boss.

I think Shang Tsung's shape shifting ability would be fun. And the power to heal oneself, and heal others, would be cool also.

I don't want to annoy, but I am using Nebula 2.23c! Is there an option I have to enable? And what do you mean by Loader? I've never used one before. Sorry - thanks for your help.

I think it should stay 2d too, but I'm not going to dismiss the idea so quickly. I'll give it a try, but KoF should remain 2d.

I've finally gotten my ROTD to work on Nebula (it's the decrypted C set), but after it loads up, it tells me that the game is locked. I've tried using other dats (the ones mentioned in Nerps ROTD thread), but they don't work. What can I do? Let's see what annoys me: - 95% of what's on television (I only watch the news, some sport, and documentaries...dramas are dumb, comedies aren't funny, cartoons aren't as good as they used to be, and reality tv is rubbish) - R & B music and the so called "gangstas" who listen to it - the state of the english language, not just on the Internet, but everywhere. All these seemingly cool abbreviations and poor spelling and grammar makes me sick. (Eg: sup? Y do dat? etc) - people who think that reading and books are a thing of the past, which correlates both to my previous point (lack of reading = poor spelling and grammar) and to my next point - 90% of todays movies coming from America/Hollywood (they nearly all suck these days, with poor acting, storylines, plots...books and novels are much better, and will always be better) -Todays game market- all this 3d rubbish sucks, there is no originality left in games anymore, most 3d graphics are ugly, gaming has become a billion dollar industry dominated by giant companies who no longer want innovation, orginality and fun in games...all they want is money. Hence they put out the same old crap (FPS, RTS, Racing, etc) and try to bowl over buyers with fancy graphics. It's no wonder so many people are into retrogaming! (My old Amiga games are so much more entertaining than 90% of today's bollocks. But I admit, today's RPGs are fun, [Read: PLANESCAPE: TORMENT] and I can't wait to see how Doom 3 turns out. I love Doom!) - The people who buy today's games - Guys who drive hotted up cars with techno or r&b blaring out the window, wear gangsta clothing, and who, for some reason, think they are 'cool' and better than others. -All people who think they are better - The ever increasing price of public transport where I live - what a rip off. - Polyphonic ringtones - they sound like crap. And lastly, on a more philosophical, and depressing note...what really annoys me is how people who are 'bad' (for want of a better word) and who don't do the right things in life always seem to be happy and get what they want, whilst others who try to be 'good' and who do the right thing always seem to be unhappy, and never really get anything they want. I hope this is just my inaccurate perception, and not really the case, but for now, it certainly seems so.

I found the file here. I believe this page gave me wrong directions when talking about naming the rom...they think it is rotd.zip, but the files within the rom match the dat above, which is named rdragonsd.zip. Can anyone help me? Any advice would be much appreciated!

For me, it was my favourite Megadrive game on a Megadrive/Genesis emulator: Streets of Rage 2!

I think SVC Chaos is great. It plays well, it is fun, the art is good in the main, the dialog is funny, and the fighting mechanics are a nice balance between Kof and SFA. I like it heaps better than the Capcom versus SNK series, because the SNK characters in those games are too underpowered, some of the sprites and many of the backgrounds look horrible (especially those ugly backgrounds in Capcom vs SNK 2), moves are hard to pull off for some reason, and the fighting just doesn't feel right. Oh, and Demitri looks soooooo cool in SVC!!!

2d fighters rock. They are fun to play, require great skill to master, and usually have gorgeous and artistic graphics to boot. The vast majority of 3d fighters do not rock. They are utter boredom to play, can usually be beaten through infantile button-mashing, and the 3d graphics are mostly dull, sterile and uninspiring.

In my opinion, the Amiga was the best, and most efficient computer to be ever made. Beats the crap out of the power, resource and money sucking Pee Cee contraptions that we have to deal with today. I never mastered Deluxe Paint, because I was too young, and too busy playing the Amiga's fabulous collection of games! I wonder if there are some tutorials on the net about making art in Deluxe Paint? I still love downloading Amiga adfs, then transferring them over to my Amiga, so I can play them on the real thing.

Hey, and that guy also appears in KoF 2k2. LOL! Pimp Wars! That old Amiga had so many classic games! I love it! *Frantically goes off to download Pimp Wars.*

CLN: have you perhaps checked that your Nebula is using "system memory" instead of using your video card's memory? That can make a big difference, especially on slower machines. Check it out.

Try this for SVC Plus: Emustar - SVC Plus On this page there are also patches for the internal rom files, which may enable the bosses, but I can't be sure, and other stuff. Hope the link still works.

Thanks alot GryphonKlaw, much appreciated. I was just about to post the 3x3x link, but Disoblige beat me to it! It's a fun game, with Yocrapora the best of the new characters, and Genjuro and of course Basara owning, but I probably liked Samurai Shodown 4 abit better.

Bcotton, as far as I know, SVC doesn't work on NeoRage X. I have tried to get SVC Plus working on it, but it keeps on hanging just before a fight starts. For me, it works smoothly in Nebula ver. 2.23 C, but you have to edit the NeoGeo dat file in Nebula first.

Hello all, I'm just wondering what's the password for samsho5+nebula.by.svc.dump.team.rar. It's asking for a password to open the rar file! Does anyone know it?
