Yeah, it is pretty crappy. They should have taken the extra day or so to do it but I think they were more concerned about putting the main game out the door. You could play the MP3s in the background. I still have the YouSendIt link so if you want it just PM me.

The the patch for Battlefield 2 wasn't really a stablility patch, it was gameplay fixes and UI features that they should have taken care of before they shipped the game. I mean how the flock do you ship a game with a server browser that doesn't have a favorites section? I'm used to patches since I am primarily a PC gamer but the reason it sucks is that I don't even play the game anymore since it took them so long to release the patch. Everyone I know who played also gave up so meh. :-/

They seem to be releasing the XBOX patches quite quickly while we had to wait a goddamn long time for a patch.

It's not on the disc because you can't put CD Redbook on a DVD. :-/ They must have been too busy with Q4 to put the music in some other format and directed the music to read it from there.

I have the ROM and I think I've played it on Clone MAME (which doesn't really exist anymore). You might be able to get it to run using a loader for Nebula or Kawaks.

Ah thanks that's exactly it. Oh and btw, with the Quake 4 versions of Q2 and the expansion, I hear they don't have music? Of any kind? Is for there a fix for that? Also, did the expansions have their own CD audio, or did you just put the Q2 CD in and listen to that music while playing? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Quake 2 had Redbook audio so you could just put it in any CD player and listen. And the lack of music sucks since Quake 2 has one of the best soundtracks ever. I have the soundtracks for Quake 2 and it's expansions in MP3 format (74.4 mb unpacked) so I wouldn't mind sending it to you.

Yeah, if you have a legit key then just install Steam and authenticate your product. I played it last night and was fairly impressed. A fun little level. Certainly good for a free tech demo.

The game is about pissing on people, hitting people with a shovel, and kicking their decapitated head around the map. Till you get to a loading screen. And then the AI resets. And that's when you throw a molotov cocktail at the policeman walking by. The game is certainly a guilty pleasure.

The last one I really got into was HoMM2. :-/ I played the crap out of it too. It was such an addicting game. Hotseat multiplayer was great and we would play it almost everyday after coming home from school. I have the CD sitting around here somewhere. The two sequels came out during a busy time for me so I didn't get to really play them. I'm looking forward to the fifth one though.
