  1. This may be pushing it but do you think you could drop by the THQ/GSC booth and check out the footage for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (it might even be playable) and tell us if the game looks like it actually has some gameplay instead of just random walking around.
  2. Why the flock did you open a whole new thread for this when there is already a KOF XI thread? This news isn't THAT important. Merged.
  3. Now I think the real revolutionary stuff will be on the controller side. I think the 3D projection stuff is all bunk.
  4. Official press release by Nintendo which states exactly what they said in the NYT article: http://www.nintendo.com/newsarticle?articl...9&page=newsmain They seem to be making a big deal about it's size. Nintendo must have forgotten that it's not the size that counts, it's how you use it.
  5. Microsoft is trying to attract the 50 year old anime watching school girl pedo loser group with this:
  6. Ok, in a New York Times article there is a little blurb about the Revolution: http://www.nytimes.com/2005/05/13/technology/13xbox.html Go to bugmenot.com for a username and password. Anyway, here is the little bit of info about the Revolution:
  7. Plus I'd rather the insight of one of us instead of those media whores.
  8. Wait...did you just say that Gears of War is being made by Rare? That's wrong. It's being made by Epic. It's the game CliffyB is working on.
  9. It's because all the talent from Rare left to make Free Radical who unexplicably made the crappy Timesplitter series. All Microsoft got was the Rare name and franchise, none of the people. Here are links to all the other promo vids: PGR3 : http://www.xboxyde.com/leech_1271_en.html Quake 4 : http://www.xboxyde.com/leech_1275_en.html Gears of Wars : http://www.xboxyde.com/leech_1273_en.html Ghost recon 3 : http://www.xboxyde.com/leech_1272_en.html Call of Duty 2 : http://www.xboxyde.com/leech_1274_en.html NBA 2k6 : http://www.xboxyde.com/leech_1276_en.html 3 condemned videos: http://www.xboxyde.com/news_1488_en.html 6 Full Auto videos: http://www.xboxyde.com/news_1490_en.html
  10. Shacknews and VoodooExtreme is where I go for my news. But both are PC gaming focused but have some console news, especially big news like this.
  11. I love roman numerals too because it's funny to watch idiots say 'V' instead of 'five'. But whatever, I won't be playing them anyway.
  12. There once was. Final Fantasy was intended to be Hironobu Sakaguchi's final game for Square, but lo and behold, it sold like hotcakes. That's why the series was named Final Fantasy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Exactly. Instead of making games with new names, they just stuck with the same thing added a number at the end. If you are able to come up with all that dialogue in the game you can atleast give it a flocking subtitle so it makes the series look like each game is a chapter in a sort of video game novel! I mean, Final Fantasy VII: The Quest for Dicks is much better than just Final Fantasy VII.
  13. They will use the Final Fantasy name till the world implodes. There is just far too much money in the Final Fantasy name and they know that whatever they brand as Final Fantasy will sell by the boat load. Why do you think they is absolutely no continuity between each Final Fantasy and they've expressly stated that there is no Final Fantasy bible? It's so that they can put that name on whatever game they are making. Also, I found the name Final Fantasy to be really flocking stupid. There is nothing Final about it.
  14. Just to let you know, Magic-box took those pics straight from http://www.xbox360.com.
  15. Uhh...first of all there is absolutely no need to double post. You have the ability to edit your first post, use it. But, I really doubt there is an easy way to do that. But what's the point since you can use Unibios in Kawaks.
  16. A new version of Rin 0.9, the GB© emulator for PSP, has been released. The GB game selector has now been merged into the emulator so there is no separate download for it. »» Official Site: http://mirakichi.hp.infoseek.co.jp/software/RIN.html »» Download Rin 0.9 Now! [1Emulation Server]
  17. It's just the effect of the MS hype. Once Sony shows there stuff you'll be right back to normal.
  18. The launch titles are less than insipring: The only games I'm interested are Quake IV, Call of Duty 2, and Ghost Recon 3 and all those are coming out on PC. Certainly nothing in there that makes me wantt to buy it at launch.
  19. From what I read about people's impressions from the PDZ footage, it's not impressive either. In fact, it's pretty bad. Also, the first impression is the most important.
  20. First pictures of Perfect Dark Zero: http://www.1up.com/do/slideshow?pager.offs...t=0&cId=3138147 Now my question is how long have they been working on this? It doesn't look very next gen at all. In fact, it doesn't even look as good as current games.

  22. Next gen is going to be interesting. I may even get an XBOX 360. But only after mod chips come out and some decent games to justify owning it.
