I have a program called CoolEdit2000 that let's you take a song and stretch it to make it sound fast or slow. Then you can save it as an OGG. It takes a little getting used to since you have to find the correct ratio you want the song to depress or extend to. EDIT: Dammit, I don't think it opens OGGs. I tried to open one of those OGG files from the GGXX folder and its just static.
Well the term "gold" has been around for a long time. The final CD is called the Gold CD hence when it is burned and sent to the publisher for production, the game has Gone Gold.
Oddly enough you can't make polls in this section. I'll move this to Current Affairs and we'll see if I can add a poll. Dammit, this thread is too old to attach a poll to it. But here is an unofficial poll: Should KoKouJoe get the Dell Inspiron 9100 or XPS? a.) 9100 b.) XPS
Well how do those 2 laptops appeal to you? I think the 9100 series is pretty good. If you upgrade to 512 mb RAM and a 128 MB Mobility Radeon 9700, it comes out to $1465 which isn't bad at all.
Even though I'm not a huge fan of Halo, this is still something significant for those XBOX people. And it may even make for some good conversation. Well anyway, Bungie has updated their website saying that Halo 2 is done is sent to a "nebulous region known as RTC (Release To Certification)." Over there some final things are done and then it will be announced Gold and will be sent for production. They have a month and 9 days till the deadline for its Nov. 9 release date. So are any of you really excited for this game? I think it looks really cool so far but not worth getting an XBOX for.
Scattered reports of it working on AMD? It works on any processor with SSE. All AMDs from Athlon XP and beyond have SSE. Any Pentium processor from Pentium 3 has SSE.
That wasn't pre-built, I put that together from parts on that site. I've never seen a pre-built comp come that well configured. Oh ok...you are forgiven. But the statement still stands, pre-built computers are teh suck.
Practice practice practice. And keep practicing or you will lose your skill. I was quite the Quake 3 master during high school but then I stopped playing when I went to college and I suck at it now. Work on reflexes and a good way to do that is practice with one bot on Godlike. That's the closest you can get to a real human player.
lets see....im willing to spend over 2000 bucks Ok, that's a nice amount. The best Dell laptop is $2,082: http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/p...s=19&l=en&s=dhs I mean you could get that if you want and be done with it for a long time. If you're needs don't require such a powerful laptop then you can just go for the Dell Insipiron 9100 series: http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/p...s=19&l=en&s=dhs And are you absolutely set on getting laptop instead of a desktop?
The reason the XBOX is like that is because of the incredibly fast bandwidth speed. Calling it just a dumbed down PC is not the most accurate thing to say. It's core design is like that but they pulled out all the stops since it's a gaming console and everything works perfectly in concert with one another.
Yeah, I think you can run KOF2003 in Kawaks and Nebula now. I don't the roms to do that because I stopped playing the game a long time before that came out. Do a search for it, there is a thread somewhere in this section. And please, don't bump it.
Pft...pre-built computers...a real gamer builds his own. I've never going to buy a prebuilt computer for my self, there's no fun in it. Yet another reason why I'm not a huge fan of consoles.
