  1. I don't see how people still fall for these...
  2. Alright, how many of you are actually interested in receiving a Gmail invite? I just want to get an idea so I know if I should make more quizzes or find some other way to give them out.
  3. I read the article here but checked the site for the pictures. Is that a direct port or is there stuff added or taken away? It's 5 flocking CDs so it's huge!
  4. Stop using caps you flocktard. Did you bother checking Google? http://www.edharriss.com/tutorial.html
  5. Very nice review. I'm not a huge fan of stealth games so I was never a huge fan of these games in the first place. I also don't like it when games try to be too much like movies which is the case of MGS2 as you mentioned. I haven't played the game long enough to have a firm opinion on it but what I played was somewhat fun. I saw this game for PC and might try it out. And its pretty cool that is a school project, I wish I had projects like this.
  6. The first level is available to download and it has enemies. Not 20 but more than it is normally in Doom III.
  7. You might like this mod then: http://www.pixelfreaks.org/cdoom/ It's a remake of the original Doom with the Doom III engine. They have completed the first level so far and its not bad at all.
  8. Muahahaha! This game ruled! But I hated it at first because it was so hard...
  9. My favorite old school machine is my old IBM PS/2 with 33 mhz CPU and 8 MB RAM (later upgraded to 83 mhz, 16 mb RAM, and a sound card). But the best would have to be NES which narrowly beats out the SNES. The best console games ever were made for those systems. Dreamcast after PS1...HA!
  10. You've got a point there. There are some some very good PC developing studios but none with the name recognition like those except maybe id Software. But I still prefer PC games developers.
  11. Link, this is my favorite rom site: Ultra Rom Site
  12. I absolutely love how that word isn't censored. And Fatal, you shouldn't be making fun of kids with Down Syndrome.
  13. I didn't even know they were still around. But meh, I don't care. The last game I remember their name on that I liked was NBA Jam TE.
  14. That picture of Heihachi looks so goofy, his hair is a bit TOO pointy... looks like The Flash.
  15. Jiggs, I didn't ignore it, I checked it out but I didn't feel like doing it. I'd rather just give it away like this. Maybe if I get more invites later then I might. Alright, ANTIWINNER WINS THE PRIZE! Kanti didn't get the prize earlier because his explanation to one of his answers was wrong. And for those that take math you'll know that the work is more imporant than the answer.
  16. A toggle is a switch for those that don't know or couldn't have figured that out from the context of the question.
  17. The Kawaks 1.46 loader I have plays SS5. But what is this Special Boss Ed? As far as I know don't you just have to mess with the dip switches in SS5 to play as the bosses?
  18. This is definitely my favorite Kirby game. My sister loves it too. So many Kirbys, so little time.
  19. Pardon the double post but here is the next quiz for one of 5 remaining Gmail invites. ----- 1.) You are outside a room with three toggles. Inside the room is a bulb. One of the toggles is genuine, two are dummies. All three are in the off position, and so is the light. You cannot look into the room and you are allowed to enter the room only once and once inside the room you cannot leave it. How do you know which toggle is the geniune one? (This one took me a while to figure out actually...) ----- 2.) What set of numbers would come next in the following series? 30 20 29 21 28 22 27 23 26 24? A. 25 26 B. 25 25 C. 25 24 D. 28 25 ----- 3.) The same four letter word can be placed in front of each of the following words to make a new word: END, BOLT, LOCK, WOOD. ----- 4.) Fatal Rose likes beets but not spinach. He likes apples but not pears. He likes jeeps but not caravans. He likes Sally but not Susie. Will he like Jimmy or Joe? Why? (Or will he like both in bed? Har har har ) ----- 5.) Timmy is older than Billy. Susie is younger than Timmy, but older than Jill. Tom is younger than Jill, but older than Billy. Jill is older than Billy but younger than Susie. Tom is not the youngest. Susie is not the oldest. Tom is younger than Susie and Timmy. Who is the youngest? A. Jill B. Timmy C. Billy D. Susie ----- Good luck.
  20. I've got 5 more so you still have a chance to win one. Rock on!! When is the next one? Whenever I finish my readings. I'm almost done.
  21. Thanks to whoever changed the name of the topic. Much appreciated.
  22. Yeah, me too. That's why I'm waiting on the next generation or maybe even 2 generations down the line before I upgrade my video card. nVidia just needs to get some drivers out that lets people play HL2 with DX9 and high frame rates.
  23. haha okay, so if some random dude gave you that card would you put it in your system? or wait umm let me say that again... if you had an athlon 2200 and someone gave you that card for free, would it be wise to put that in or sell it and get a more suitable card. Well it all depends if I think I will upgrade my CPU anytime soon. If I'm not going to upgrade within 6-10 months I would sell the card, get a 2nd best generation card and pocket the rest of the cash to spend on other more important things or save up for the next generation video card and processor. If you use a Radeon X800 (or GF6800) instead of an Radeon 9800 (or GF5900) with that processor you might see a modest speed increase but definitely not worth the money you could get by selling it and buying a lesser card. Also, if you are thinking of buying a video card from the last generation, go with the ATIs because they won that round.
