These kind of posts usually stir up huge flame wars in most other forums. But I am and have always been a hardcore PC gamer. I've never really been too fond of consoles. I've only owned the following: NES, SNES, TurboGrafx 16, and a Dreamcast (which I got this summer.) But I don't dislike consoles, they have some good games too and I play them at my friends' house. Also, PCs are much more versatile which is what really appeals to me. So to me PCs are better, but others might not think so. It's all opinion. But yeah...PC pwns all.

Get VDMsound and load the game with that and choose Soundblaster. EDIT: Why do you have a half naked man in your desktop? And if all else fails, just do standard sound. That ought to use your PC speakers. Now that is really old school. Also, what game is that?

Have you tried the emulator Kawaks? That's a great emulator. You can just stretch the game window till it fits to your liking.

I assume you set the directories correctly. Also, if the names and CRCs don't match with your version of MAME, it won't work. So post the names and CRCs of the files in your rom set.
