Don't you have to give your computer a name? It's part of the installation processes.

FreshyK It should be FreshyC since it's a computer but oh well.

US Doctors were involved in torture at Abu Grahib
Gryph replied to random guy's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
I saw it in the news the day before you posted it. I think it's absolutely disgraceful and goes against everything the Hippocratic Oath stands for, which I have not taken and will not take for another 6-7 years (I have to finish undergrad then 4 years of med school. The school system between USA and AUS are really different.) I'm not a doctor yet, but I'm on the right path. Anyway, those doctors are a disgrace to the profession and to this country and if there is real justice they will have their license to practice taken away and be thrown in jail. Of course, since they are military doctors they also must follow the chain of command. If they were given orders from above to do such things, then as an officer they are obligated to do it, so that's where the conflict occurs in the mind of the doctor. Should they go ahead and follow orders and hope that none of what they are doing leaks out (which has so they got owned) or disobey orders from a commanding officer and get court martialed for it? I'd go for the court martial because I don't think the Armed Forces have the authority to take away my license, only the AMA does, and I am not going to torture anyone if I'm not in the mood to. Of course, this is no laughing matter so I shouldn't be joking about such things. I'll be back to reply to more stuff when I gots the time. -
I hate that smirk of his. I hope he feels the shame at night while he sleeps that his gold is a fluke. Boomba, he received his gold because of a mistake on the judges part. The gold should have gone to that South Korean guy but it didn't. And Hamm is all like "I earned this medal blah blah blah", yeah well so did the other guy who did better than him. Though it was only by a fraction of a point, it's still the principle of the thing. And since Olympic scores cannot be changed after they have been made (except in Equestrian), there will be no justice.

Are you serious? It'll be a little while till Atomiswave is emulated, posting a "challenge" to the emulator authors isn't going to speed anything up. There are only a few people capable of doing stuff like this such as the Chankast team. They have been able to load the NAOMI (which is like Atomiswave's older brother) bios and play Virtua Striker. Another thing, emulation is for old and aging systems which are rare to find, not just so you can play games for free. But good things come to those who wait.

You are really bored. You should be out hitting on chicks and getting laid. But that's really funny though, 8/10 for the humor. -
It's not easy to make characters. It takes lots of time and patience. Go here and read the tutorials: http://www.mugenguild.com/guild/tutorials.htm Specifically the sprite ripping and character creating tutorials.

A friend of mine just sent me this link and since the word terrorism was mentioned in this thread, I'll post it here. I don't think Gamecop would want a whole thread dedicated to this. Al Qaeda's next plan -
Thanks Gryph. Witch guy are you talking about? I was asking about the guy proposing to Violence but you already clarified that for me. Since last night your skills seemed to have improved.

A bottleneck is something that slows something down which would normally run properly without said bottleneck. -
Pure genius. Who's that other guy?

I don't really have much time right now so I'll just post something very brief. I find that nonchalance towards the tortured Iraqi prisoners rather odd. Most of them are not terrorists and many are there for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. To call them terrorists is very ignorant and very stereotypical. There is a reason this country signed the Geneva Convention, it's so that if God forbid our soldiers or civilians ever get captured, they don't get tortured. Now that this has occured and now that the entire world knows about it, there will be no hesitation for other people to torture them. Do you think America stands for torture and inhuman behavior? That's not the America I live in and I hope to God I'm not the only one who thinks that way. This country is supposed to be a beacon of hope and humanity in a world full of terrorists and evil people, but to engage with the same kind of depravity as they do doesn't make this a better country. But hey, for terrorists...torture the crap out of them. Because of those terrorists, they have not only taken innocent lives, but completely shat all over Islam and all other Muslims since now we look at them all with a wary eye. And on a side note, Rumsfield and other top officials have been faulted for the prisoner abuse: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...buse_panel_dc_7 But hey, who am I to lecture? I'm sure we all come to a reasonable agreement that torture sucks and should be avoided at all possible cost. -
Nice one ForceX, the 6 slot MVS is teh own.

Do you plan on upgrading your processor anytime soon? If not, don't go all out on a video card then since your processor will bottleneck it and it won't really be worth it. The 9800s seem to be a great deal now as someone already mentioned. Cheap and powerful. -
That's not Calculus, that's Algebra II and Trigonometry. I've have too much Calculus homework to do right now but if I get done I'll try and help you out.

Oh my God! I missed this thread! When I get back I'm going to tear you a new one. I'm ashamed to live in the same country as people like zhugeliang. Is that what you think America stands for? Dammit, I have school and I get off at 4, but I'll be back to this thread. Don't do anything rash to get this thread closed, I'll be back. -
I'm more of an Maxtor and IBM/Hitachi man. I have 2 Maxtors, 1 IBM/Hitachi, and one WD.

I'm sure we all want super performance from our Office products. I want to see my Paperclip buddy at a flowing 60 FPS which the AMDs simply can't deliver. So sad.

I'm absolutely stunned and humbled by your great Paint skills. Gaaah...it's so odd...yet I can't look away. Non-serious score: 10/10 Serious score: 2/10 (2 for the effort)
