During every year there is a presidential election, each of the major parties have a convention to nominate its candidate. It's a huge event with celebrities and politicians and such. This week the Democratic Party will have the Democratic National Convention in Boston to nominate John Kerry as its candidate. And soon the Republican Party will have the Republican National Convention in NYC to nominate George W. Bush.

I like the video. I hope I get a chance to play this game, it looks decent so far.

It's probably not because you were up late. There is no way to get that tired that quickly while walking for your brain to fall asleep. The only plausible explaination is narcolepsly. And if its in the family, then that makes the case even stronger since its genetic.

What voicebots are you using and where did you get them from? I've only got that crappy Microsoft Sam and LH Michael and Michelle. I tried an intro with those voices and it was horrible.

What a moron. No game takes 600 mb these days. Doom III needs atleast 3 gbs. Even though the Geforce3 is more powerful than a Geforce4MX, it doesn't have those critical changes. 800 mhz!!! What?! If a computer doesn't run Unreal 2 well, it won't run Doom III at all.

There was no beta, it was just a repackaged alpha. And that was also unoptimized code so going with that doesn't really count. And your PC should be plenty powerful enough to play it properly. According to [H]ardOCP, a 1.5 ghz with GeForce4MX was completely playable. Don't fret, emsley, you're fine.
