X-Bit Labs has some news on the specs of the XBOX 2 which is codenamed Xenon. Very nice. I like the extra outfits and versions of characters, specifically black Clark (is it just me or does Clark have a really huge package in this pic.) Though Mai's other outfit isn't as good. Dude...Duke Nukem Forever hype will not die down. Sure, people make fun of it now but when it's about 3 months to being released, the hype will be in Duke proportions. Actually, I really like the WID policy since 3DRealms can take as much time as they want to make the best FPS which will destroy HL2 and Doom III. Since they don't have any corporate pressure on them, they don't have to worry about cutting corners and releasing crap. And the longer this game takes, I believe the more hype it will have when its close to being released. People will be like "This game took 7 years to make! It's gotta be good!" And gamers would rather play a wonderful game than hold a grudge against a company for not releasing it according to their time table. And 3DRealms is one of those companies (like id and Square) whose reputation can't be lowered and the proof is one word, Xenophage. Am I a 3DRealms fanboy? Abso-flocking-lutely. And those guys are slackers too.

CRC is the Cyclic Redudency Check. It makes sure your file isn't corrupted. If you are using Winzip, go to Configuration and enable the CRC column. A CRC will look like a random bunch of letters and digits like D803B32. If the CRC the emulator is expecting is wrong, then the ROM won't work.

nah ur just too embarassed to say how many times you die Damn, you saw through my poor attempt to mask my un-l33t skillz. Actually, in CS I die quite a bit since the game go on for so long even the best players die more than 10 times. But in other FPS games that have a kill limit of 20 or 30, I don't die more than 10 times. But it really depends on too many variables, like how l33t the other people are and their connection speed, etc. etc. etc.

Half-Life 2 is supposed to be able to scale back really far, like to Direct X 6 or 7 I think so you don't have to worry about it not running smoothly on your computer. Hell, even STALKER runs fast on my computer but that's build is atleast a year old... And unlike K'dash, I don't lose interest in games that easily. I can't wait for Half-Life 2...going to be so fun.
