There is actually a ROM request forum. But you can definitely find Ikaruga by using DC++. Did you search Suprnova for a torrent? EDIT: It'll be tough to find an HTTP with DC ISOs even though Ikaruga is hella small.

I would lose my mind if I had to anylaze and poke soil/water/whatever just in the name of science. What does all that teach you anyway? How to be a good redneck farmer? Because its an advancement in the world of emulation, and a pretty big one too. And this also brings the emulation of NAOMI and Atomiswave closer. I can't run Chankast on my computer but its still an important thing to other people and to the emulation scene.

Well it seems those Chankast guys are hard at it. Chankast Alpha 0.2 will be released this weekend with promises of better graphics, better speed, and better stability! There will be many fixes and additions coming with this second release so everyone get ready! This is certainly a good time for emulation. Uh...you're wrong. How will they get better results from leaving a couple of kick ass PCs on vs. over a million folding@home users? The amount of computers needed to do what this distributed project does is beyond their budget. It's a private university project running on goverment grants and that does not allow massive spending. The only groups that can afford doing that are the government run labs (NIH and its branches) and private corporations (Celera, Genentech, etc.) which was done for the Human Genome Project. And how is this too good to be true? It's not.

You can't share with the 56K modem because that is a phone line and can't connect two computers with a modem. Unless there is some really convoluted way, I don't think its possible.

Make sure you have the latest drivers installed also.

I think the biggest recent turn off is Sega's massive uber-cool announcement...but this definitely ranks up there.
