Quake actually looks quite nice when GLQuake'd. Sure, the lighting isn't upto todays standards, but the game still gives me the creeps. If you download this thing called Tenebrae (sp?), it makes Quake lighting very Doom III-ish.

I'm sure Fatal appreciates the mentioning of that particular thread....as do you. In retrospect, the thread was amusing, but somehow useless in a sense. So true...atleast the Street Figther 3 thread has facts in it on why CPS-3 isn't emulated yet.

Dc Isos (not Bootable)
Gryph replied to Jjangthekid's topic in DreamCast & Saturn Emulators [/pc/dc+saturn]
Well it doesn't matter if its bootable to mount the game with Daemon tools. It matters if its bootable if you want to use in Chankast. -
How tactfully put... If the game is released within half a year I will be very surprised. I don't expect this game for a full year.

No, but I guess it gets near that. Well then you should go to your closest developmental home and see first hand what I'm talking about. Aren't all inheritable inabilities diseases? That is true. I misspoke (mistyped). I couldn't think of a word that would help me distinguish between different degrees of inhertible diseases. For example, if a person has sickle-cell anemia, which as you know is a genetic disease, then there should be no objection. But if a person can't effectively communicate, they shouldn't be able to care for a child. Of course it only concerns those that can. Well if a person has the physical and mental ability to reproduce, their disease isn't THAT serious. I can see why we are disagreeing here. It is because we have a different view on what is a serious disease and what isn't. To me a serious inheritable disability is one like Rubenstein-Taybi Syndrome where it is definitely quite impossible to communicate with them. I watched a cardiologist try to do a heart check up on her last week and it was quite intense.

Quake should work on Win XP. But I think you need GLQuake. And K'dash already mentioned Doom95 for Doom. There are also some OpenGL ports for Doom, try Google and you'll find them. And you can use this to play Wolfenstein 3D in OpenGL. Reinstall your video drivers, that might fix your OpenGL errors.

Down syndrome isn't that serious... it can be but most people with it can function properly in the world to a certain degree.

She's Hispanic. She's from Puerto Rico I think.

ROTT is Rise of the Triad. The best most underrated FPS of all time. That game just came out at the worst time which lead to its downfall. It was released 2 months after Doom II and a few weeks or days before Heretic. Originally it was supposed to be a sequel to Wolfenstein 3D but they didn't really have the rights to it so they didn't. The plot (if you can call it that) is about this guy (El Oscuro) who is very Hitler-esque who wants to take over the world and you must stop him. The game had many revolutionary things like separate characters with different stats, a full multiplayer that supported 11 players (Doom II only supported 4) and had numerous game modes, LUDICROUS GIBS, and there is some more stuff. Also it was the first game to receive a 4 in the RSAC rating system (before the ESRB was formed) which was the highest possible. Such a great game.

i sorta did, SHE didnt make good movies, but her movies werent the worst movies...this is b4 the whole J.Lo thing...im jus thinkin of anachonda, bc that was an interestin movie.. Anaconda sucked major amounts of penile organ. The only decent movie I can think of with Jennifer Lopez is U-Turn.

To me people with serious inheritable disabilities don't have the mental or physical capacity to reproduce. But even if it was possible, it would do more damage than good for the child. I said no. I can tell you it is completely possible; inabilities can be mental or physical, not necessarily both. Therefore someone with a physical inability can be mentally perfectly sane, and vice-versa. Forbidding people with inabilities to reproduce... sounds completely nazi to me. (and I also have other reasons to disagree) Dude...have you worked with severely mentally and physically handicapped people? They are no capacity to care for a child. It's not that they shouldn't be allowed, but they should be discouraged. And the question asks about SERIOUS inhertible disabilities. Now if it said diseases instead of disabilities, it would be a different thing. But that question is not very well worded because people with serious disablities, mental or physical, will find it very hard to reproduce.

I just don't have any money to buy it or a place to put it. -
But this game will be in short supply and a ROM dumper may not get this game immediately. I think this game will definitely take longer than the last few games that have been dumped.

It's not the "rehash" that make me angry in SNKs case... it's the fact, that in 03... most of the characters, don't even look like they belong on the same screen! Kim VS Kusagani... Ash VS Ryo... etc, etc, etc! It's not only the sprites animation, the effect animation aswell... Thats what makes me angry.... ALSO - The publisher of KOF can't even keep there updates straight... For example, K' animation got some serious inhancements in 02... but in 03 they were taken away and replaced with older ones =/ I though K' had some additions in '03 as well.

It was cool when she was bumped from her spot on Conan. She vowed to never come back to the show and its a good thing too.

Remove the physics too. I just want to see all the enemies die in the same way. Actually, replace all the sounds in Doom III with the ones in Doom II. Old skool ownz j00 all.
