  1. Grrr... Different strokes for different folks. And I agree with what Jon Stewart said "I haven't even seen an episode of the show and I'm sick of it." That was in response to all the publicity and air time the Friend's finale was getting. And I agree with him completely. It was way out of line. They were tracing each characters' family tree on that damn Dateline special!! Now that is just sad! But I really liked SNL's parodies of the Friend's finale on last night's episode. The first one was great with George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfield and then that one with Snoop being depressed about the final episode. It was a funny show for once.
  2. Original Microsoft Sidewinder 0wnz j00 all. Actually, it's not that bad of a controller. It did take me a while to get the half circle motions on it since it has a rather large D-Pad.
  3. Axl? These are Riot.EXE's threads....and yes, a description would be nice and not just "Hot Question #". whoops, sorry axl and riot, my mind must have been elsewhere Its a series...thats why I keep calling it that...you know...consistency... Exactly. We need consistency. But we are KNOWN FOR OUR RANDOMNESS! That's exactly it. This consistence was completely random! Do you mean we're random about our concistency, or do you mean that we are consistently random? A bit of both I think. Haha! One of Riot's threads just got straight up deleted! That's worse than being closed! Own3d! But what was this Hot Question about again? I would say we are more random about our consistency.
  4. Haha! That part was great. I should have tried that kind of ceremony on my roommate in high school (he was gay) but I think he was too deep into "the dark side." Who do you think was the better Hawkeye Pierce, Donald Sutherland or Alan Alda? My Mom prefers Alan Alda but I really like Donald Sutherland. I guess they both were equally good...
  5. And Gamecop is courteous when he warns someone, he will send them a PM telling them exactly what they are doing wrong. Unlike some other forums where they ban you without telling you why. I would know, I've been PMed by GC a few times.
  6. Alright, I'll try and help. Are you getting any error messages? To make sure we are on the same page, get the KOF2002 rom and Kawaks 1.46 from here You may be trying to play the NRX version on Kawaks and vice versa. Post the size of the rom and contents of the zip file. And also post the CRCs. EDIT: I just erased a ROM link I posted a long time ago. It feels like I'm going back in time and killing my old self.
  7. Its probably because you play the games off CD. That's the only thing I can think off. I doubt the other uber cool specs of your PC would affect it that way.
  8. If I had the time and energy, I still wouldn't do this.
  9. That IS an awesome engine. Now Elecbyte needs to start working on it again.
  10. Yes they have to be real. That's just sad...
  11. Oh what are you talking about man!! Daikatana r0ck3d my b0x3rs! I was John Romero's biatch (I hope people get that joke)!
  12. Couldn't have said it better myself. I, like the K man, am a huge FPS fan. I'd say what really shocked me was Half-Life since it was based off the Quake/Quake 2 engine (Q2 is based off of Q1 engine BTW). Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 look really cool also, IMO. Quake 3 was another great one from id. My favorite has to be the Duke Nukem Forever engine, though (hopefully I'm not the only one to get this joke...). Hahaha...Duke Nukem Forever...I really hope they don't switch engines again or do any more major updating. George Broussard has said it looks absolutely nothing like the Unreal engine now and just uses the barebones code. But that's a good thing. And about Half-Life, I was like "This is the Quake 1 engine?!?!" I didn't believe it at first but then I read it used a HEAVILY modified Q1 engine. They did some marvelous stuff with it. I hope John Carmack never leaves the gaming industry, he's too damn important! But he has confirmed that he working on another engine for a new game that is something fresh. And I wish John Carmack would actually rerelease the Quake games using Doom III technology at a bargain price. I remember him saying he would like to do it but I don't think they are going to. It would kick major amounts of ass.
  13. Well if you actually stuck around and watched the show you would know what we are talking about.
  14. Oh wait, I forgot to include Prey and the Messiah engine.
  15. Excellent question, Cominus. Let's start this from the beginning. - Doom (was too young when Wolfenstein 3D came out) - BUILD - Quake - Quake II - Unreal (the first one) - Quake III - Halo (when the first video came out, before Bungie was swallowed by M$) - MaxFX (Bullet time was the absolute coolest) - NetImmerse (the Morrowind engine) - Doom III - Source - X-Ray (the S.T.A.L.K.E.R engine) - Unreal 3.0 As you can see, I'm a pretty big FPS player (PC only!). And John Carmack owns you all.
  16. I usually don't have to wait since there isn't really a big demand for games here. The closest Gamestop (20 miles away) is pretty nicely stocked with new releases. But then again, I only buy PC games and there aren't that many PC gamers here.
  17. Yes! I have a coffee table book that is nothing but pics of Audrey! Awesome! Sounds like a really cool coffee table book!
  18. Scarlett Johanssen (sp?) This is really old school but Audrey Hepburn.
  19. Hmm...you do have a point there Agozer. n00bs wouldn't read anything even if you threatened their lives.
  20. In Windows when you make a game you can just check the box that says "Dedicated Server." I'm pretty sure that does it right there.
  21. Yes, I know. The US releases of these old titles were a bit different, but here in Europe it's exactly like I posted earlier. Besides, my info also comes directly from the european Playstation.Com site. ... So axl, you lose. Well, this Anthology version is an american one, maybe the PAL release is as you typed,Agozer! But yesterday I had the NTSC Anthology release in my hand while I was typing the message! Anyone know of a FF3 remake for PS? Yes, you are correct, the US Anthology is different. No, there isn't a remake of FF3....yet. There's a rumor that Square-Enix is working on this though. Are you talking about a remake for US FF3 (FF6) or the real FF3? Because I would actually play a remake to FF6.
  22. I guess this idea would curb some of the n00bness...
  23. Check www.neogamez.net for the NeoRageX fix. You have get that specific NeoRageX hack otherwise it won't work.
  24. Haha! This Nazi loving bastard just got served! This is some expert work you've done here GC. Must have taken you a while to put all the pieces together. You're a regular Sherlock Holmes. And I love how in his Neo-Geo.com profile he mentions body building as an interest yet in his picture his arms seem to be as stringy as mine. I can barely benchpress 100 lbs. Oooh uber sexy h@><0r. What a flocking loser. And I hope he doesn't try anything stupid now since GC has all the goods on him and it's pretty much 100% correct. See you hell NeoX, you Nazi bastard.
