Yeah, my friend just got a Powerbook yesterday with OS 10.3. He's in heaven now. He can install all his Linux programs on it so he's very happy. And I wish the computer at work had OS X because there is DC++ and Bittorrent for it. I'd be in downloading heaven. Whoa, I used the word heaven twice, wait now thrice. What the hell?

Another pet peeve is Mac OS 9. It doesn't even have a DC++ client much less Bittorrent.

I always enjoyed King of Monsters 2 and thats sort of wrestling game.

Young Geese is very Andyish. SNK/Playmore are so flocking lazy... but I like the MI pics. Mai needs to be enhanced though. And K' looks like a badass. Though that suit is just a tad bit too tight.

He also gave us Dungeon Keeper and Populous. Bullfrog was such a great game studio.

Basara has it spot on, Planescape: Torment was an extremely awesome RPG. Great story but its been forever since I've played it. I must get my hands on it somehow. But I preferred Baldur's Gate II. The old D&D games were hard core as well. I think you can find those in the bargain bin now all packaged together. Black Isle knows how to make a good RPG. I just want Fallout 3 now but I don't think that will happen. Am I the only one here that prefers PC RPGs to console ones...? I think so. But I am really looking forward to that game Fable for the XBOX. Peter Molenyux (sp?) has really scratched me where I itch. It's just such a great idea.

Hmm...so what political leanings DON'T piss you off, exactly? Centerists really, with leftist tendencies. But seriously, you have to look on both sides of the political spectrum and get the good ideas from both sides to have a decent government. And I said bleeding heart liberals, those are people like the PETA and those hippies. I am liberal but I will take into consideration some right wing policies because they may be better for everyone. And governments exist to keep people in order so we don't run around sodomizing each other.

How's that Japonese coming along? Just like random guy, I grew up on text games like Zork and Quest for Glory and stuff. Those games made me learn more advanced vocabulary and helped me write better. I also grew up playing edutainment games like Carmen Sandiego and those Math Blaster games. Those were fun as hell and I learned a crap load from them. RPGs were also great to help improve my reading speed and comprehension skills. But games are still no substitute for a good book which kids nowadays aren't reading much of. I never liked to read very much but I still forced myself because I knew it would benefit me in the future. But! Video games have had a serious negative effect on my physical being. Because of video games I never wanted to go outside and exercise or atleast get some physical activity so my muscles wouldn't atrophy. I can blame without a doubt that video games are responsible for making me the extremely lethargic person I am today. I dread going outside to play tennis or do anything physical. I have absolutely no stamina anymore. Before, I used to balance my video gaming out with soccer but I can blame Ultima Online for bringing that to an end. But in the end, its the individual that is to blame. In most cases at least, sometimes its completely out of the person's hand like a freak accident or something.

I don't think video games have much of negative effect. They haven't had any negative effect on me atleast. I've been playing games since I was really young and have always been in great academic shape. But video games do take up time that I would rather be using for studying but oh well...that's my fault. But I have seen people who only play video games really go down the toilet. I mean, they can't hold a conversation unless its about video games or anime. It's quite pathetic really. Video games CAN have a negative impact but if the person can control their habit, it's usually alright. And my previous post on this thread was deleted...why? It wasn't inciting anything.

Uh huh, so do most other people on this board. It's been out for more than 3 months...

I don't play many RPGs and if I do its PC ones. So I say its the story and battle system. But that's for any RPG. And I like RPGs where I can customize my character's stats and appearance instead of just giving them a name.

Yes yes...that was damn awesome. Very ol' skool. DN3D was also fun over serial. And SNK, serial connections are old and connect to the serial port not firewire. Serial ports are about the size of a VGA port, maybe a bit bigger. I don't know if laptops still come with serial ports but look on the back of a desktop and there should still be atleast 1 serial port.
