  1. Aaah! So much text! My eyes are hurting! But I enjoy healthy bickering like this.
  2. Latest Stats Date of last work unit 2004-04-29 23:11:57 Active CPUs within 50 days 2 Team Id 36271 Grand Score 1051.5 (certificate) Work Unit Count 15 (certificate) Team Ranking (incl. aggregate) 4993 K'Dash, are you still folding?
  3. I'll definitely be playing games the rest of my life. Unless both my arms get ripped off or I go blind, I don't see why I wouldn't.
  4. Oh well, I'll give a more detailed description when I have time.
  5. Alright cool. The game which made the loud rotating sound was a GD-ROM but the one that squeeled a bit was my burned copy of the web browser. And I noticed that the drive is sometimes really slow so when it loads, everything gets slow too. Does this happen to you? This happened when at the main Web Browswer screen, but it mainly went away after that. Do any of your drives slow down significantly? Haha, I was debating whether it was disk or disc but I guess disk won that round. But disc wins overall.
  6. Man, I love E3 time. I always get ultra excited and then wet my pants. But since 3DRealms isn't there again, I'm not as hyper.
  7. I'll get a better listen at the sound tomorrow. Right now I'm studying for my Organic chem test tomorrow. So I'll post a more descriptive description of the sound. But I'll tell you its not really loud. It just sounds like the disk is spinnign really really fast (which it is) but its just kind of unsettling. But if I have to re align, I'll have to do that after finals.
  8. I just got my Dreamcast in today and was wondering if a not too quiet yet not too loud squeeling sound is normal. Also, when the disk spins it makes more noise that I expected. It makes noise like the disk is making contact with the actual unit. What kind of sounds does your Dreamcast make when it reads a disk? Do I need to realign mine? I'm just paranoid so this may just be normal, but I'm not so certain.
  9. Oh no, it's Away from an internet...komputer. AFAIK...
  10. But you can say bastard on network television... oh well. I'm not calling this guy a bastard because I don't know him and he's probably too busy to respond to emails anyway.
  11. Yeah, my parents don't like the fact that I still play video games. They think it takes time away from studying and school work. It's so annoying.
  12. I think SNKP's strategy was to release SSV to piss everyone off and then release SSV: Special so we'll think its a god send. Well if that was their strategy, it worked.
  13. Oh man, I missed out on such a fun conversation. You show him K'Dash! But back to the matter at hand, boozing while posting is just wrong. There are better things to do when you're boozing.
  14. A game doesn't need a whole bunch of extra frills like running and crap to make it better. A game is better when you have more fun playing it. My friends and I still have way more fun plugging in the SNES and beating each other senseless with Street Fighter 2 Turbo. Sure Guilty Gear X is fun, but it doesn't compare to the amount of fun we have when playing SF2T. And when you get right down to it, that's what a game is supposed to do. It's probably just the nostalgia but I wouldn't give up that fun to play GGX. And I'd rather play FF5 and FF6 than FF7. Those 2 games were hardcore and PSX release of FF5 was just great. But then again, we're really old school. Sure SF2 isn't the best game ever (but it ranks way up there), I never said it was. I just said it shouldn't have lost to SMRPG. No need to get all flamey about this. There's more to life than video games...
  15. I don't know how old my dad is either...is that a bad thing? Well by the time I get that old, I'll have enough dough to just buy the arcade machines and systems. I'll even donate to the emulation scene. But my parents don't care about this kind of stuff unless I can get in trouble for it, which I can't.
  16. Muahahaha! Awesome death moves! I am so excited now!
  17. For some reason I preferred the one on the N64 more than Melee. But that's just me...
  18. I've got quite a few. Almost all of the KOF characters, all Garou, most of the SF, more than half of the Guilty Gear X chars, and some hacked characters.
  19. But still, this is a DREAMmatch. It doesn't have a plot. But yeah, I don't miss any of those characters everyone keeps griping about. I'll just play with them in KOF2002, no biggie.
  20. Bison would Psycho Crusher that little crap right back to the 11th century.
  21. What the hell that does that have to do with anything? What does how old it is have to do with anything? It's still one of the greatest games ever made. Most of the best games are old school games. Most recent games aren't even close to the old ones in fun factor. Get on with the program? Why?! New games don't automatically become better than the old ones just because they are new. And its Jeez Louise...not Jeez Louis...
  22. Hahaha, do I hear a little resentment in that? I care about other people's opinions, but that won't make me change mine. But the highway scene was decent...but I got tired of it after 9 minutes of it. The best action scene was the one with the Merovingian's guys. And I don't bash the trilogy, just Reloaded and Revolutions. The first movie was bliss.
  23. I always went to MegaGames for cracks and things but I had no idea it also had this. I was pleasantly surprised.
  24. I stumbled across that earlier today and downloaded it. Thanks for the help anyway.
  25. I stopped paying attention to those stupid contests a long time ago. All those people are idiots...SMRPG over SF2...give me a break.
