Quest for Glory is the absolute best. QFG 4 was way to buggy and QFG 5 just plain sucked. Its a pity that the last game was pure crap. I wish they woulda just kept with the old formula hopefully they'll redeem themselves soon. hehehe have you played the quest for glory 4.5 fan made game? I was thinking of trying it out. there are fan rereleases of KQ 1 & 2 also. never tried them tho. I haven't played the fan game but I intend to now. But I really doubt they'll redeem themselves in the adventure department. The new Leisure Suit Larry might be good but I'm not holding my breath.

I don't think anyone is going to put a picture of themselves up. And I like the fact that people see me as The K Man. Wouldn't want to give away that bit of mystery.

I'm trying to find an extension which shows how much of the page has loaded in the status bar. I've checked the Extensions page and can't find it. This is annoying the crap out of me! I thought it would come built in but it apparantly it doesn't. So, can anyone help me out here? And what are some other extensions that you recommend? I've gotten a few already but I would like to know what are the good and really important ones.

I predict that after the Dreamcast is emulated, Atomiswave and NAOMI will soon follow since they are basically similar. The pathway will have been laid out for the two arcade systems and it might take maybe a year or so to tackle the other stuff. But that is ofcourse hopeless dreaming.

Damn you, I'm using IE 6... But I'm going to get Mozilla Firefox soon. My older version of Mozilla stopped opening so I reverted back to IE. Actually, I'm using this MYIE2 which is actually pretty nifty. It lets me use and change proxies on the fly without having to change my Internet settings. But I don't get a chance to see all these animes because all my anime friends have moved away. How sad.

You are absolutely correct! I feel the exact same way about this! I was angry when they cancelled Full Throttle 2 and felt absolutely betrayed when they cancelled Sam and Max 2. But its because of this new generation of gamers that don't know anything about what we used to play. All they know LucasArts is Star Wars, so that's what the company delivers because they know it will sell well. Star Wars is LucasArts' only cash machine. It's the only thing new gamers can relate to. Here's a scenario. A kid goes into a store and sees Star Wars and Sam and Max 2. Which one is he more likely to choose? Star Wars ofcourse because he's probably seen Episode 1 and 2 (and probably hasn't seen Eps. 4-6). But then you must also remember that LucasArts made the best Star Wars game (besides KOTOR and JKII) back in the day when they made the awesome adventure games. Who can forget X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter? Such a great game. Only game studios that don't have to answer to their corporate masters can have control over their games. Like id and 3DRealms. They can make any game they want, whenever they want, release it whenever they want because all they have to do is tell the publishers "It'll be done 'When it's done!'". The LucasArts game studio on the other hand has to finish games as soon as possible so they can roll out as many Star Wars games before Episode 3 comes out. Hmm...those last 2 paragraphs make no sense and are me completely rambling. Oh well, it made sense to me. flock LucasArts!!!

Because those are mainstream anime. It's the ones that most of the people are exposed to. It's a pity. But I don't watch anime anymore, but when I do, it's the top quality stuff. And Cominus, I absolutely love your new sig.

I'm thinking of getting a Dreamcast and was wondering does it really have to be made before November 2000? I was looking around and its seems that the HKT-3030 is only the Euro PAL version. Am I right or wrong about this? Which Dreamcast model are you absolutely certain about that won't allow me to play ISOs? Thanks for the help

Actually I had this weird ass dream a few nights ago. I remember it because I actually woke up. I don't remember much of it but I remember just the part before I woke up. This is how it went: I was doing a project on magnetism for Physics and I created this semi powerful magnet in my room. It was an electromagnet made of coils of wire. I went to turn it on and it was facing my computer desk. Right after I turned it on I realized what I had just done so I quickly turned my computer on and everything was erased. At that point I quickly jumped out of bed to see if my files were still intact. I rarely wake up from dreams but this was just very real.
