Oh I know which is why I stuck with my CRT till the end. I was very sad when my CRT started dying because I knew I would have to get an LCD.

Indeed, the color is phenomenal. However, the was another monitor that I saw that had more vibrant color but it was a glossy screen Gateway with much less viewing angle. This monitor cost me $583 including tax. Online and many stores sell it for $600 but Best Buy had it for $540. I wouldn't want to watch TV on this but I will watch movies! I have a 27" standard def TV for that. And yes it is a 24" widescreen. I was afraid it wouldn't fit in my workstation. It actually doesn't fit properly inside the monitor area but I have the screen outside of that area with part of the base off the pedestal. :/

I haven't had a new monitor in many years so I decided it was time I move into the 21st century and leave back CRT and get with the LCD program. My old monitor was an awesome Trinitron P991 18" viewable. My new monitor is an LG L246WP-BN 24" P-MVA panel. Pics are a bit large (about 1 mb) because I didn't feel like shrinking them down. They are also blurry and crappy quality since I do not have steady hands and my camera sucks. I saw it last night with my parents. If you like totally unrealistic but fun kiddie type adventure movies then it's hard to pass it up. I enjoyed the first one and I enjoyed the second one as well. Also, Helen Mirren is pretty hot for her age.

The only harddrive eraser I know of is Dban. I don't know if that fits the specifications you want. I don't know about a single file deleter though.

Stop caring what other peoples' response to your likes and dislikes are. In this case you are censoring yourself out of fear and not wanting to have to deal with antagonizing posts. flock em! You like hip hop? Awesome! Post it and don't give a rats ass what other people think of you and your tastes. Don't be meek. Or at least that's what I think. But, in the case of that thread (still not exactly sure why it was closed, I always miss out on the action), I think people should be free to discuss each others' tastes and whether or not if they are too close to each other. Your likes don't have to be diverse or too focused.

The point of the Lounge is that it is a place for uncatergorized topics. I don't like forums that have categories for everything. At least it's not really important at our size. However, such a system would not be effective in a place like SA so separation per topic is very important.
