And I thought it was cool to just know her as The Bride. And am I the only one that doesn't mind the switch to black&white for the fight sequence? But then again, I love old black and white movies. Whoa, when was a nuke in Ocean's Eleven? I think you might be talking about Broken Arrow. Ok, you haven't seen the movie either then. The Don Cheadle (sp?) character (the British black guy) used a "pinch" which creates an EMP blast just like a nuke would. And I don't remember then scorching the sky with nukes. They used planes to deploy this black sooty stuff to block the sun light. And here we have another Matrix loophole, why the hell didn't they just use a crap load of EMPs?!

I remember them using EMP bombs when they were at war with the machines but they should have used it when they were first threathened. And did anyone see the trailer for I, Robot? I haven't read the book so does anyone know how close the movie is to the book? But from the preview, that situation seems just like how the Matrix began.

Well I was most interested in reading the evolution article because biology is my major field of study. And after reading half way through the article (couldn't stand the rest because he was saying the same thing over and over again) I have come to the conclusion that this guy has an entry level biology take on evolution which means he's stupid. I'll say it bluntly, this guy's a flocking moron. The first two paragraphs talk about evolution and then it goes into something else about how we should all get along and that's when I realized that this guy is talking out of his ass. We share a common ancestor; we are not directly decended from what we know as apes and monkeys today. If this Infidel Guy cared to check the actual biological history and evidence for how humans came about, he would have made more sense. Ofcourse we can't use blood from other species, hell we can't even use blood from our own species. The blood antigens and proteins are different in other animals so our body would treat it as a foreign specimen. But scientists have started using pigs to make blood usable by humans because they have been injected with our horomones and genes. So far Infidel Guy = Psuedo Intellectual Bastard. He should get his facts straight. God, these kind of stupid people piss me off! And if anyone is actually enlightened by this essay, then you must go to school and actually learn. Geez...how could he write an article about this with such basic knowledge about the subject?! Atleast Maddox writes witty articles and he researches everything before he actually writes. I am very unimpressed. As the great biologist Theodosius Dobzhansky said, "Nothing in biology makes sense except in the light of evolution."

Was that at Blockbuster? I hope so so you can get the free rental. That scene didn't pass the censors but QT did a very smart thing by making it black and white. It added a sort of artistic panache to that sequence. So its a win win situation, he can keep the scene in the movie for us and it even looks cool. Yup, it was Blockbuster. But I usually don't mind paying for rentals -- as long as the movie looks promising, and especially if it turns out to be a good movie. Back to the topic: so it's in black and white, but on the DVD, is the original scene availabe for viewing in the special features or whatnot? I'm guessing not. Why can't people just accept the original for what it is instead of trying to water things down for the easily paranoid Western societies? Well I don't mind paying for a rental but Blockbuster promises that a new release will be there. Oh well, your choice. It's a very good movie. The DVD actually doesn't have a lot of special features (the colored scene is not included) because I think they're going to add those to the Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2 package. All it has is a 'Behind the Scenes', all the trailers for all QT movies (from Reservoir Dogs to Kill Bill Vol.2), and a performance by 'The 5,6,7,8s'. But to me, making the scene black and white isn't really watering it down. I think it looks very cool and is a very neat bit of style. I would like to see it in color but I think I prefer it in black and white because its just so cool. I doubt seeing red blood would substantially enhance that scene. But everyone has their own feeling and tastes.

Yes yes! You tell em solidius! And now for something completely different. Did you know that Bastardo is actually a real last name? I was shocked when I saw this guy with that last name. It was the actor that played Luther in the Lands of Lore 2: Guardians of Destiny. I would hate to have that last name...Bastardo. Yeah, that's all I had to say about that. This movie (and many others) deserve to be bought (or rented) legally.

Let me elaborate on my previous post. I find Virtua Fighter (and Tekken) dull and boring because I prefer the speed and style of 2D fighters. I'd still rather play Street Fighter 2 over Virtua Fighter 2 because SF2 has more replay value and is way more fun. That's why I wrote 2D fighters own you.

Via has nice chipsets, hell my mobo has VIA north and south bridge chips. But I've never seen a processor for sale by them. Take this, AOL disk! Muahahaha! But I always keep an AOL disk with me for when I travel and if the hotel I'm staying at doesn't provide internet. I just sign up for the 1000 free hours and use it. Very convenient. And I keep the cool DVD and tin cases for my other CDs. That's what those disks are good for.
