Well I can't wait to get to my gross anatomy class to cut up my cadaver. But why would someone sell dead body parts...

Forums Updated From v1.2 TO v1.3
Gryph replied to Alpha's topic in 1Emulation.com Information [/info]
Hey GC, I like the new descriptions you put under some of the forum titles so people know what and what not to post on it. Things are more clear. And thanks for changing the Direct Links policy. But I hope it doesn't become flooded with requests. By the way, someone spelled "aloud" wrong. Just thought you should know. -
I don't think there are many pure martial arts anime. They usually mix them with a space theme or something. Ninja Scroll (and Resurrection) is one that comes to immediately, but that's about it.
-
How so? The graphics were totally different, the game mechanics were totally different. I mean, if you mean tag team, then that's not really test run ideas.
-
Hmm...I never made toast in the NeoGeo so I wouldn't know. But that joystick is really a JOYstick, *raunchy laugh* It had no rumble though

Whatever the subtitle was, it wasn't part of the KOF continuem. I feel like such a nerd because I know the KOF plot in detail. I feel like a Star Wars/LOTR geek. "Meeeh, Gandalf didn't carry 2 daggers...meeeeh" Kinda off the topic (well this whole thing is off topic but oh well), but did anyone gasp in amazment when they saw the ROM Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2003. I saw that before I joined this forum and I was like "Holy crap! I gotta get it!" And when I played it and it was KOF2001 with weird colors I felt so cheated. But now I'm know more about the emulation scene, thanks to 1Emulation. But I do have a question about the plot and I don't feel like starting a whole new thread. What happened to Bao and Kensou. I know they have some bond in between them, but was that addressed in KOF2001? Or is it for future KOFs. I remember in the K' Team story for 2003, Chin said that they're in training. Didn't someone want to exploit their powers?

Hahahahaha! Damn, I need that plugin. But I thought of another great "Which is better question?" Which controller also doubles up as the best vibrator? Answer away people. I always loved the N64 Rumble Pack, but I think the PS2 has it beat. I mean, it's Dual Shock
-
Well KOF2002 was a dreammatch so they had to bring back all the old characters. And I guess Rugal is the generic last boss. He was the last boss in KOF98 too and that was a dreammatch.

No, you shut up. I want to start a "Which console has a better logo?", "Which console has a better operating disc drive?", or "Which console makes the best toast?" SNES makes the best toast. Don't you dare say otherwise. The SNES always burnt my damn toast. I preferred the original Nintendo's toast, it was golden brown and just yummy.
-
Well...Playmore just got in SNK's shoes, but it's still a bit inexcusable. They should have just cut and pasted the game code from KOF 2000, changed the select screen and lifebars, replaced the portraits, and add a different power up system.

Its those sounds and colors we all love
Gryph replied to Shibathedog's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Just being concerned about a fellow forum member Well if its just a for a few seconds then that's somewhat of a different story. But still, the heart can fail just like that. Ventricular fibrillation kills in minutes and is unstoppable unless you defibrillate the person. -

Yeah, that's hilarious. The great thing about that is depending on your family's history, sometimes the heart will go into atrial fibrillation and cause some minor problems and arrythmia. Or if you have really bad family history, it will cause ventricular fibrillation, which is basically fatal. It all depends on how strong your heart muscle is and how much blood is being blocked by plaque in your arteries. So you know, be careful. It's not good to stop, slow down actually, your heart like that. The brain does that when you sleep because it goes into parasympathetic mode, so it's controlled. But something like that can cause major problems. But I've never heard of anyone doing that, and I don't plan to try it out. -
King Of Fighters 2003 (kof2003.zip) News V
Gryph replied to James's topic in Arcade Emulators [/pc/arcade]
I downloaded that hack earlier to day and the Rising Tackle is now a dragon punch move instead of a charge move. So I got rid of it. -
Each and every post on this forum is entertaining, valuable, and helpful. Unless its by Sharim. But those were pretty entertaining in their own right...

I wonder why KOF2001 looked so bad compared to KOF2000...it should never go backwards.
-
Sale of Body Parts at UCLA Alleged Wow. This is certainly weird news. Even I wouldn't do this.

I never really understood the whole fascination with wireless controllers. I mean, are you really going to walk around and play a game? Are you really going to play the game from such a far distance that the cord won't reach? The tangle of cords adds to the bickering amongst friends which is always fun. "Hey! Your controller is tangled with mine. Don't pull it! You'll pull mine out! What the flock are you doing! Great, now we have to restart, you moron." And it's a waste of batteries.

Hey RockHoward, why is Terry your avatar?

I want to buy a new graphics card....
Gryph replied to random guy's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
I was just on Anandtech and saw this article on there. Console Emulators: Our Newest Benchmark Even though they only use ePSXe, it gives a taste about what the new processors and GPUs can accomplish. And they show Zelda: The Windwaker running at 4.5 fps max on these top notch systems. -
Oh ok, good. The way you said that it just seemed weird so I thought you didn't use it. Games look like crap without it.
-
Do you not use interpolation?
-
I just didn't like the characters or the fight mechanics. I don't hate it! That's a really strong word. It's just a sub-par fighting game for me. Sure I'll play it just to see Rasputin do his ultimately gay moves. Matrimelee is really tongue and check and goofy and I like it, so that's not why I don't like WHP.
-
But Atomiswave uses cartridges, not GD-ROMs.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Broom hair! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Wow that's precious. Kramer's hair is like a broom. Yeah, I called you a moron. Got a problem with that, pookie! Type, say, let's not get into semantics, OK. Hahaha, that rhymes. What...better than see my broomy hair...what does that mean? Whatever, moron. Alright...alright. I'll let him be. You're lucky Frost, I'd be wailing all over your ass. And I don't feel like getting a warning or get banned. Yeah, I still don't believe you.
