Streetfighter 3 Third Strike
Gryph replied to Violent-Yagami's topic in Arcade Emulators [/pc/arcade]
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 uses NAOMI or Atomiswave, can't remember. CPS3 ain't gonna be emulated for a long long time. I hope it is emulated soon but the odds are highly against it. I hope I live to see the emulation of those systems. -
you act like I know about programming. Dude, if you wanna start compiling it, I can give you a guide a friend of mine gave me. If its MAME32 Plus you wanna compile, the drivers for kof 2002 and earlier are already on the source, but they're disabled, the other games you have to add yourself(which isn't hard because all of the games that came out in 2003 are decryted) Oh I assumed you knew some programming. Alright send me the link to this guide. I'm always eager to learn more, especially if it helps me in future emulation needs. And it'll be cool to know something about compiling so I can make fun of n00bs

Some asshole sent me that link earlier. I didn't click on it because I knew there was something fishy about it. I was expecting it to be on of those link where you click it and all these nasty gay sex pictures pop up. I didn't know it was a virus. Thanks for the heads up.

That's what I thought. Oh yeah and Shadowrun for SNES rules.

I'm 19 and have a an Atari 2600, NES, and an SNES here in the US and an NES/Samurai (that's what it is called there) and TurboGrafx16 at my house in India. I never bothered buying a PS, Genesis, Saturn, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, X-BOX, Gamecube because I can just leech those off friends. I had no need to buy them. And I basically stopped playing console games then, I prefer PC games. So I think I'm pretty old school.
-
My only problem with MAME is the lack of external DATs. Since I don't know how to program, I have to wait for someone else to compile a copy for me to leech of off. I don't mind it much because it'll only be a matter of time before somebody gets it working. It is much easier to copy and paste the DAT files into Nebula/Kawaks but I'm not going to hate MAME just for that reason. Sure it's inconvenient, but that's it. It's only an inconveience.
-
I really don't care what emulator I use. I can adapt to anyone if I have to. If a game only plays with MAME, I'll use MAME. I would prefer if it all games ran on one emulator so I wouldn't have to have 4 icon (Kawaks, Nebula, NeoRageX, and now MAME32.) Personally I prefer Nebula because of its raster effects and better graphics. I have a question though. Don't KAWAKs and Nebula basically work the same? Like if you have a DAT for Kawaks, you can just add it to the Nebula neogeo.dat and the game will work. I did that for a few games and it worked properly so I'm assuming that's how it works. Am I wrong?

That wasn't popular? I remember everyone talking about how cool that games was.

Yes it's quite refreshing to know the world still makes some sense.

The Most COMEDIC Movie... In History... Of World!!
Gryph replied to AntiWinner22's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Yes I have this tape somewhere in my closet! I absolutely love it. Mr. T is my hero! *See my signature* He's the only reason I stayed in school, didn't do drugs, drank my milk, and did not become a fool. I don't stand for any jibba jabba! Antiwinner, you are now ultra cool for bringing up the goodness that is Mr. T. -
Because you touch yourself at night.

Aha! The worst fighting game ever is Karate Champs for NES.

Make a Cheat.dat file using Notepad and then copy and paste all those lines of code. Then put that file in the main Mame directory. When in the game, press TAB and go down to cheats and follow the rabbit.
-
Well ofcourse you need all parts to play. Is there a message on the black screen or is just a black screen?
-
Jesus Christ man you use a lot of smiley faces... And about help in mugen, there is a whole forum dedicated to it at the bottom of the main page. You'll get all the help you need there. But I'll give some help here anyway before my big test. The lastest version of MUGEN out is 4-11-2001 (don't get WinMugen). Well you then copy the proper files into the proper directories. Using basic logic, you ought to be able to get it working in 2 days.

Gryph replied to i_romeoo_i's topic in Arcade Emulators [/pc/arcade]
When you press TAB and to the menu, is it not recognizing any buttons? If so, then right click on the ROM name and go to Controllers. You have to activate Joystick 1 for it work. -
Yes yes I do. I remember, we had only one magazine and that Nintendo Power. That was THE magazine to check for pictures and news. I remember looking at pictures and reading the text and pretending that I was playing the game. One of my friends was lucky enough to get Mario 3 the day it came out so that weekend was pure bliss. Games back then had the same amount of gusto as the LOTR movies. Me and my friends were more into Castlevania but Ninja Gaided was ultra cool too. I do remember the first time I played Sonic at the Macy's electronic department. I was hooked. It was so different and fun. Just amazing. AND HOW COULD I FORGET TRANSFORMERS!!!! /me grabs hair and pulls Dammit, class time.

Ah yes. I remeber that...but I was more anxious to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Saturday mornings used to mean something. I mean...PeeWee's Playhouse, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Smurfs. All the good stuff. And I remember actually renting games...I haven't rented a game since I rented Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain. Now everyone just buys games (or pirates them ) Do any of you rent games? Blockbuster is like 5 dollars a game so that's absolutely not worth it. For five bucks you can get a cheap hooker give you cleavand steamer. Anyway, games back then were special because they were relatively new. Also, we were still the first console playing generation then. Now you got all these Pokemon, pseudo-Anime crap watching 9-13 year olds who think a footgame drastically improves each year. I mean, the best footgame is still the original Tecmo Football game for the NES. I'm not perpetuating the sterotype that all kids that age are morons, I mean some of you here are that age. But you are the more advanced and cultured gamers. Sure every now and then an awesome game comes out now, but back then everything was like "WHOA!! I have to get that! That's so cool and innovative!" Now I'm like, "Oh they added more pixel shaders, meh. Cube mapping, bump mapping, alright seems cool." But that's just me.

DAMMIT!! Double post, sort of. I pressed stop on the first one after I pressed reply. I tried to copy it but the this damn Mac keyboard sucks. Apparantly CTRL+C doesn't mean copy. Some please delete that above post.

You my dear sir seem to be spewing various pitches of sound from your rectum. It seems that your medula oblongata is the size of your malleus, you corpus cavernosum sucking piece of solid human excriment. It also seems your biceps brachii has significantly increased in size due to overindulgence in self gratifying activities located around the genitals. Perhaps your dorsal radii needs rest. Um...that's all I can think of...DAMN! This is totally out of the blue but its in my head right now, and if you can identify where this quote is from, you'll great a prize!! "I don't want to go off on a rant here but America's foreign policy makes as much sense as Robert Fulton having sex with Beowulf at the Battle of Antitam. I mean when a neo-conservative defenestrates, it's like Ruskalmikov filibustered deoxymonohydroxinate."

You my dear sir are talking out of your rectum. It seems your medula oblongata is as big as your malleus, you corpus cavernosum sucking piece of feces. IGNORE THIS POST!!!
