  1. X-MEN2 Wolverine's Revenge - Garbage. Aliens vs Predator - I liked it a lot. Aliens vs Predator 2 - I liked this even more. Torment disk 3 and 4 only - It's a good game. Very texty with little combat. Basically a novel in game format. Baldur's gate II Shadows of Amn and bonus disk - Completely rules. Baldur's Gate II Throne of Bhaal - Rules some more. Baldur's Gate - It's good. But the sequel is better. Baldur's Gate Tales of the sword coast - Same as above. Hitman code 47 - I think it's the worst of the series but it's still good. I love Hitman. I think the second and the latest ones are the best of the series. Icewind Dale - Not really a huge fan. The Temple of Elemental Evil - It was fun for a bit. Deus Ex - ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER MADE (to me ofcourse)! No joke. If you're only going go play one then play this one. It's so important that I'm going to bold it.
  2. High quality Quicktime: http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/spider-man_3/
  3. I don't know how old this is but its new to me. Here is a low quality footage, but high quality content Spiderman 3 teaser. http://www.avi-film.com/videos/spidey3.zip It's in FLV format so you'll need this to play it: http://wcarchive.cdrom.com/pub/simtelnet/w...layer_setup.exe This movie will rule. That is all.
  4. That question has been asked so many times but the only answer we've gotten so far is that Apogee still owns the rights to those songs. Kind of a useless answer but I hope they'll release them someday.
  5. From what I hear HL2 Ep1 was cracked less than a hour after it was released.
  6. You shouldn't pirate at all. If you have a Circuit City nearby then you missed out on the $7 Half-Life 2:Episode 1 sale they had going on a week or so ago.
  7. I can tell that no amount of text will change your mind so I think that the demo should speak for itself. If you don't want to play it, fine. I don't want to bang my head against the wall trying to convince one person to play it. If you break down all the parts of the game and trivialise them like that then of course it won't look interesting (this goes for any game really). It's how all of those bits come together to provide a cohesive and fun twist on the old FPS formula. Is this game revolutionary in any aspect? Absolutely not. What does the game offer that's getting it all this praise? It's just very fun. That's pretty much the only criteria I care about for games. The level design is inventive and cool with the use of the wall walking, gravity flipping, and portals; the weapons are a nice alien twist on convential human weapons (there is one weapon that shoots explosive crab like things); and the combat feels solid. Those are three most important things for an FPS and it does them very well. I, too, am a jaded gamer but not as much as you it seems. I would like to new ideas and new concepts just as much as you and hope the Wii can deliver on that. That's why I was always a supporter since the beginning but I still doubt that we'll see anything radically different. In the meantime I'll just continue having what fun I can with regular games like Prey and whatnot.
  8. I hope you don't mind me asking but why did you get this PC if you didn't know what games you wanted to play on it?
  9. Not really. But it plays very well.
  10. He lives in Malaysia where piracy is rampant.
  11. Welcome to PC gaming. Are you into strategy games? That's the other main PC gaming genre. As a life long PC gamer I will be the first to admit that there isn't a large amount of new stuff outside of FPS, MMO (which I don't play at all), and strategy games to play. Pretty much every PC game is now multiplatform. However, there are a bunch of old games that are great for PC but won't take advantage of your hardcore PC. Also, we seem to have opposite views of RPGs as I don't consider most console (or Japanese to be more specific) RPGs to be true RPGs. I'm from the old D&D and Ultima mindset. You won't find many turn based RPGs on PC (hell, even on console since FFXII is going to be realtime combat) because they just don't sell well. Pretty much all the old PC RPGs are turned based though. It saddens me but whatever, I love FPS games still so I'm content with that.
  12. Yes, it rules. Finally I get to play what I've been waiting for since 1998!!
  13. I remember when I had 1337 posts. I took a pic of it but I can't find it anymore.
  14. That is one big sword. And someboddy, that picture looks like it's a screencap from a terrorist training video.
  15. Flipmode eye witness news dingdingalingalingadingaling!! Hahahaha!
  16. Hahahaha! No. George Broussard has already said this means nothing. Not to mention that half a mil probably wouldn't entice them to do anything since I don't think they're exactly hurting financially (though they are slowly being bled to death).
  17. It's unfortunate they're releasing a ramake of The Omen today.
  18. Sounds like a lucky day. I'm jealous of your arcade.
  19. It's 3 episodes per "season," So if you measure by hours, which I don't really like to do, it would be 12-18 hr for $60 which is a tad more than AAA PC games are.
  20. I don't listen to any music outside of the game. I like to be fully immersed in single player games and I like to listen to footsteps and other audio cues in multiplayer.
  21. I agree very much with your definition of hot skinny.
