  1. I'm playing through that game right now. Hot.
  2. Yeah but I would prefer it if it was wireless by itself. Hopefully the reason it is attached to the remote is for added functionality.
  3. Super Smash Bros. Brawl revealed! Yay! Newcomers are: - Pit (Kid Icarus) - Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid) - Zero Suit Samus (the blue "no-suit" Samus from Metroid: Zero Mission) - Metaknight (Kirby) - Wario (Wario) http://revolution.ign.com/articles/707/707504p1.html I'm uploading the high res video right now. EDIT: High res video: http://www.freshyk.com/downloads/SBR_EN_re...wmvhighwide.wmv
  4. Video of someone playing Mario Galaxy:
  5. Why can;t they make a RPG instead of changing it to team based FPS?!? I HAVE ENOUGH OF TEAM-BASED FPS! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because they suck and don't see the potential of what a new Shadowrun RPG could mean. I'm sure this team based FPS will be a fine game but it's such a waste of that universe.
  6. No. It will just be another year of console launches.
  7. I couldn't have fathomed wasting such a perfect RPG license like this.
  8. www.gamespot.com Or you can get http://www.e3insider.com/e3tv/ and download the whole show in hi res when it's available. Only Sony's event is available now so Nintendo and MS should be there tomorrow.
  9. Heh, it seems this game is a teambased FPS like Counter-Strike. flock that then. This game has gone down a lot in my anticipated list. Vista no longer needed.
  10. No video has been released yet but Gamespot should have it. Halo 3 trailer to download on regular Internets: http://bungie.net/News/TopStory.aspx?link=Halo3Announcement
  11. There's a Halo 3 trailer on XBOX Live! right now if anyone cares.
  12. That only matters if you care about Bluray which I certainly don't. By the time I ever get a next gen video player they'll be down to $300 anyway.
  13. Agreed to the 120th percent. It was nice to actually see games being played. God, it made Sony's event yesterday look like a 10th grade class presentation. Now it's time for Microsoft's which is probably going to be really obnoxious and gawdy. But they'll probably show some sweet games. The purported Halo 3 video will be quite a crowd pleaser. I'm hoping they reveal Shadowrun and show some nifty ingame footage.
  14. It was a really boring press conference. Everything felt forced.
  15. Download the exe from here: http://www.e3insider.com/e3tv/ It's not up yet but when it's up it should be good. http://www.gamespot.com/ It's not available for download yet but should be soon. You're really not missing anything.
  16. Seriously. $500 for base system is a HUGE chunk of change. That's without any games. If you preorder or buy during launch you'll most probably have to buy it in a package deal so those will run around $600 minimum. flock that crap.
  17. Not really. The Wii controller can do a lot more. It can actually judge distance from the screen which is a huge difference. The PS3 controller also can't act a pointing device. The second part of the nunchaku Wii controller is probably more like the PS3 controller but the main remote is quite different. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I still cannot understand the usage of judging distance in a game. Oh well, there might be some new creative game from Nintendo on this. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> With this PS3 controller, all it can really detect is roll, pitch, and yaw. That is rolling and moving on a single axis. It can't detect if you moved forward or backward or sideways. With the Wii remote you can do stuff like sword fighting, gun control, and other stuff because it can detect relative movement in space.
  18. I was just about to post that. It seems Wifi is no longer there. Also, for all the 1080p harping their doing it's surprising that there is only HDMI out on the 60 gb version.

  20. As I said in the other thread, this conference was boring as hell. Oh yeah, they're removing vibration and replacing it with the sensing thing.
  21. Drake, I was wrong. They did just announce the price for PS3. $499 for 20 gb and $599 for 60 gb. This Sony press was pretty crappy for the first hour. It was incredibly boring. I was eating when they showed MGS4 so I'll have to watch that later. Sony's controller has tilt functionality which is pretty cool.
