I hate popups but when I browse emulation sites I use Opera and turn off images, media and pop ups. Which gives me super fast browsing so I can cut through most of the crap. The only time I turn it off is if you have to open an extra window to get to the rom. I don't mind a good emulation site having the odd pop up because I value the time the guy/girl(let's not be sexist ) has put into making the site and giving me access! What I can't stand is sites that have millions of pop ups, votes and it all ends up being for nothing

wow. Really impressive drawings. I used to love drawing and painting. At some point I stopped doing it though, apart from the occasional doodle. I have no time now with work, music and gaming! I suppose I can do it while I wait for roms to download on my dialcrap connection

It goes well with my desktop, which at the moment has a kind of purplish/lilac thing going on

Emulator Nebula v2.21 System PC - Windows here is what's new! CPS2: -Improved VBlank timing. Fixes some problems with SFA3.. CPS1: -Fixed crashing in Punisher in the 2nd stage boss. NEOGEO: -Added support for the Universe BIOS. Go to Game->Neogeo Options and enable "Use Universe BIOS" to load it. The bios must be in a zip named uni-bios.zip (in the ROMS folder) and the rom MUST be named uni-bios.rom. When using universe bios, all neogeo options and cheats in nebula will be disabled, use the bios built-in region, machine type and cheats options. When using universe bios you'll see garbage during initial tests, don't worry, that's normal and doesn't cause any other problem. -Fixed slowdowns in s1945p. GENERAL: -Fixed crashings if you have more than 4 joysticks connected Maybe the best CPS1/CPS2/Neo-Geo/PGM/Konami emu around Get it from here

This place just gets better all the time. It's becoming more active all the time, with more members, more posts and more.....stuff! -
I want a new HD too. Maybe another 40Gb would do me fine. I also want more RAM (256Mb more) and a new graphics card (Geforce 4 will do nicely). I also saw a DVD re-writer for £199 today in the newspaper. I might have to get one of those too! Having all my roms on just a few disks would be great. Now all I need is money...

I've given the sites for the latest GBA releases, well here is one with old ones. Link not Allowed -Diso That site has roms 000-670. Enjoy

Yeah definately learn how to design a simple page or two in notepad before you start using a WYSIWYG editor. You won't regret it as it will make things a lot easier in the long run.

We are already on yahoo too I just did a search. I suppose we could try getting added to the yahoo directory listing thing. There are only 32 sites on it though... I was going to try but I thought I would leave it to you Gamecop because it requires e-mail and username etc, which you would need if you ever wanted to change your address or directory listing. I will keep looking for other search engines though! -
I think this would be a pretty good idea too. I am a big fan of the older computers

Here are some more sites for the GBA fans out there. They are all working as I post this, so hopefully they will be up for a while Link not Allowed -Diso A few of them don't work with download managers and you have to right click and "save as" to get them to work. Anyway, Enjoy!

Click me. I'm Sexy! I really really really hope they release this disk in Europe or the USA. Otherwise I am gonna have to learn some kenji quick! Incase you can't be bothered reading, when you preorder Zelda Gamecube, you get a special disk with: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Gamecube edition Ura Zelda, the expansion pak for Ocarina that was completed, yet never released, for Nintendo's failed N64 disc drive (64DD) GameCube preview movies of F-Zero GC and Resident Evil 4. Nintendo, you KNOW I am going to preorder Zelda, so you better do this over here or I will go insane and shave off all my hair and stick it to my eyebrows

http://www.siteadd.com I think, lets you add your site to all the major search engines at once. So maybe you could try it out Gamecop? If it doesn't work we can help you add the site manually to all the search engines -
How do you earn your bread in life?
DreamCastLover replied to emsley's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
damn you stole my idea someboddy I just finished university. I work for a website design company at the moment. I don't really want to stay with them though, so I will probably move around March next year. So you could consider web design. Maybe do a course at college or just gain experience yourself at home. Most web design companies are more interesting in seeing examples of your work than actually seeing letter next to your name. They also like someone which is up to date with things in the tech industry, which you probably are. Failing that you could be a camera man for adult movies! -
Microsoft take new approach to Xbox in Japan
DreamCastLover replied to DreamCastLover's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Well the news about the mod chips I was told by a lot of people in irc who have the beta. Microsoft say it is not a deliberate thing they created but it just happened. They also hint that they won't fix it because those with mod chips have invalidated thier warrantys You can read the interview with the European MS guy here And here is the news about the Japanese chief stepping down. -
Because the Xbox isn't selling well in Japan they have decided to completely change thier target audience. They are now not going to advertise it as a games machine but as a cheap DVD player for middle aged housewives Well I guess they have to sell it somehow but considering MS makes like a £100 loss on every console this can't be good business News that isn't so funny is that people with chipped Xboxs and only people with chipped Xboxs are getting "cannot connect to server" messages now with Xbox live. Thier Beta cds worked before but now they don't. I am kind of glad I didn't solder a chip into mine but it still sucks as I want to use it for emulation

No problem mate I just made Virtual Boy Advance put my screen captures, save games, all in different folders. I don't know why I didn't do it before.... Oh wait I do..because I am a lazy git
-
Yeah this is what annoys me when using emulators too! Anyway, only now that you mention it have I bothered doing anything about it heh. I just looked at the config file called "zsnesw.cfg" and in it there is a line SaveDirectory = So you just change that directory and it will save your games in there. Keeps things nice a neat. eg If you Zsnes directory is c:/Zsnes Change that line to SaveDirectory = C:/Zsnes/saves That should work.
