  1. It's quiet possible that I am the only one thinks so. Their all the same, stop Dracula and be angsty. This is my way of saying "I want Sonia back in the canon damnit."
  2. Castlevania was always like that, just had a different artist from now and then. Sadly though, Ayami Kojima's lushishly beautiful art isn't cutting it for the new crowd of fans.
  3. NiGHTS 2 Diablo 3 Starcraft II Another RTS Warcraft Another P.N.03 Another Baldur's Gate Another Painkiller
  4. Agreed, but I find using the stylus more convinent. Espeically in battle situations where it's just move, point and touch. But IMO they could of done more with the graphics, it doesn't really push the DS pre-se, so far the only game to do that has been Metroid Prime: Hunters. The extra CGs are hot and so if Refia. And as you said, gameplay is practically vanilla FF and I also agree that the main part of the game that is made of win is the sound, in particular the music. Music is epic win.
  5. I think what he's been saying for the past few years with is that he'll do it when he wants too. It isn't a secret that he has all the free time in the world.
  6. ^- with him. With the advent of the Lindbergh and mainly 3rd parties (Not inculding the Sammy side of Sega) use of NAOMI, why keep GD Rom production? The next wave of arcade hardware has proved their worth on upgrading and much more cost efficant. (Not to mention that DVDs hold more then GD Roms) In with the new and out with the old I say.
  7. it's the complete opposite with me when I'm high. My guitar playing skills (like, actual guitar) tend to drop faster then a bag of hammers at the bottom of a frozen lake. My reaction time doesn't really change that much when I'm high. I find that my reaction time actually improved tenfold when I was drunk, because I was parrying moves I normally just block too in SF3 and when I played SF2, I could constantly hit `gief's SPD for some massive win.
  8. Dude, no one ships on saturdays. Nice specs there buddy.
  9. I've got alot on my plate right now. 3 Stories and tons of games to finish. Resident Evil: Before Infection - Non-canon story about an RPG I used to play last year, "Part 1" Arcanium Stadium - The "Current" title of the story I'm working on. On hold until me and drawer can beat some games, or until I get sick of said games and go back to writing. I've written about 8 and half chapters. Trust me, it's all script format. So you try writing 30 chapters worth of mostly dialogue. and finally Dark Times unto Dark Bloodlines - A story based in White Wolf's World of Darkness series of tabletop RPGs, totally non-canon, using some characters I created up for an RPG that I've just about started. And then theres all those games on the left over there that need beating. I've blasted my way through Marvel and still working on beat all the comic missions AND on hard mode AND unlocking everyones costumes. I've managed to put a good 29 hours into it so far. Theres also Heroes of Might & Magic V + Hammers of Fate. No time to live anymore. AND THEN Theres the slight possbility of a family memeber staying over for a really long time and he's bringing nearly all of his lifestyle with him. But we get along pretty well and he's gonna get me some if you know what I mean. He's pimp, and we might get XBL Gold, so all our woes and online madness shall continue in Xbox format. Enough life. Back to brainstorming and having sleepless nights due to video games and writing. It's amazing I also lurk the fourms at the same time. How do I do this? Easy, no job, no school and no band until Feb due to everyone else having mid terms. /s/ don't fail me now.
  10. Looks like Konami isn't guilty of mass cancellations of Wii and PS3 projects, nor quietly deciding not to bother continuing with a handful of prototypes either: those games listed by Famitsu this week haven't been cancelled after all. Previous reports, based on a Famitsu entry, claimed that sketchily detailed next-gen titles Gradius Series, Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball, "New Action Game" and "New Role Playing Game" (all PS3) along with "New Action Adventure Game 2" and "Role Playing Game" (both Wii) had been wiped off the release schedule. Not so says, er, Famitsu, which has apparently updated its website to claim something of a printing error. Konami has kept quiet throughout. Which leaves us with little else to say, even about dewdrops brushed gaily from the strings of a mangled hummock, other than perhaps that Konami continues to support the various next-gen formats including Wii (Eledees/Elebits), PS3 (something called Metal Gear Solid 4) and Xbox 360 (Pro Evolution Soccer), although it's showing little love for the Gizmondo, which must be doing well or they'd have mentioned it on the news. http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=71740
  11. I would say that the 60Hz thing isn't an american infulence, but rather because mostly other regions, mainly being Asia and North/Central/South America out weight all other 50Hz regions. Unit itself, maybe, due to voltage conversion processes I would assume.
  12. Older then time. Also fails for canning Gradius
  13. Well I know Shadows is playble and so is God of War lately.
  14. 1) Yes, both are the same thing, but HD Loader is the one most up to date if I recall. Also, I think it's the one but HD Loader is free and HD Advance is a rip off because it's a pressed disc. There are alternative methods to get HD Loader to install and boot that do not require a mod chip. 2) Assumably yes, but there could be some problems with the NTSC to PAL video transition. And as you may(be) know that U and J games run on 60Hz. 3) Not a clue. Also, not all games will support HDA/L, specifically Dual-Layer games (Shadows of the Colossus, Gran Turismo 4 etc) and need to patched or made into DVD5 isos for transfering.
  15. Actually, according to him, it isn't OUT at all yet.
  16. I would love if they ported the Saturn version myself after playing the PSX version to death. But it seems Konami isn't up for using Saturn's version dispite having all the abilities in the world to fix ALL of it's retarded problems.
  17. So is Aggio gonna hit up the service too ?
  18. This dude's Flickr has pictures of it. Expect it sometime randomly this year hopefully. Also Konami said it's based on the Playstation version and not the Saturn's. [updated] - Upgraded graphics and sound while the game remains intact - supports wide screen - graphics are cleaned up and have less aliasing - no word on Dolby 5.1 but music has been enhanced - same cheesy voice acting and dialogue - the game is exactly like the PS version - the game is less than 50MB thanks to new audio compression techniques - supports d-pad and analog stick, the article makes it sound like the analog stick is better - No word on pricing and it still has an Early 2007 release date (before April) from 360IGN.com Edit: Kicking off our not exactly being there, but posting CES news anyways, CES 2007 News! Expect more CES news from us! (or me!) Edit 2: Updates!
