  4. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=144573 Wednesday 16-Aug-2006 11:55 AM Financial reports suggest that Nintendo's upcoming console could be the cheapest Wii you ever had Nintendo's Wii could be nestling under your telly for a lot cheaper than you think, according to a financial report from the Tokyo-based Nikko Citigroup. In-between the financial jargon, the financial institution forecasts that the Wii could carry a Japanese price tag of 19,500 yen, down from original estimates of 25,000 Yen, because of cheaper CPU costs, which, through current exchange rates roughly translates to around £90. But before you start doing Mario cartwheels on your computer desk, keep in mind that console prices rarely ever convert according to exchange rates, and we can probably take this report to indicate a more likely price-point around £130. Advertisement: Click to learn more... Nikko Citigroup's previous forecast for the Wii was 25,000 yen (about £114), but the firm lowered its price estimate based on its expectation that Nintendo will be able to produce the console's CPU for lower than expected. Up to now the official word from Nintendo has been that the Wii will retail for under 25,000 yen in Japan and under $250 in the US. While we don't expect the console to debut at the sub-£100 price-point this report suggests, the surprisingly-low £130 introductory price of Nintendo's Gamecube has us hopeful that the company will still surprise us with a really competitive entry into the market. It could even creep up towards the £150 mark and still be damn good value. We'll be looking out for good news at Nintendo's Leipzig press conference next Wednesday. Keep it tuned as CVG will be there to bring you the very latest. Rumor control, not gonna post on main page.
  5. Also known as "Bootleging." The music industry knows that term pretty well.
  6. Well, I know some games come with a 50/60Hz selection at first boot of the game. I think S2 has one. Not totally sure.
  7. Alot of people who I've talked with agree that this game would totally fail if they added Online play. You can't really build upon something this good with online play.
  8. Thast True Agozer but NIN bought Rare and then sold it to MS. So I doubt they would give up rights to KI, Goldeneye etc in the deal. Thats why we never saw a KI for X-box. As for the emulation its very good idea but yet to see the business model is it gonna be renting games on the HDD like some cell phones do and charge you each time you play or online like Xlive Arcade. KI = Rare property, Published by Nintendo. Ex: Perfect Dark series started on 64, when Rare was still a 2nd party. There for, KI is their property, not the big N's. Goldeneye = Lost license (it's under the EON/MGM and as of right now, Activision), no right to redistribute unless granted. In short, Killer Instinct has a higher chance of being (re)made for MS. And we know that MS is partly sharing Rare, occasionally you'll see a rare title on DS/GBA. Just give me some more Timesplitters plz~

  10. One of the flaws with Adam was he was talking with his werid ass motions. Jack's a lawyer, so he knows how to handle this.
  11. Dude, playing Front Mission 1 for SNES for half the night is insanely mind breaking. My head, it hurts. Alot from this game.

  14. Give me the most colestoral and high fattening fancy food ever. To top it off, with some rare red wine.
  15. Nevermind the young 16 year old, that in it's own right it's a bad problem. What about the 25 between 40 aged parents that still buy these games without even a notion about the ESRB ratings? Take a eye off the work load and watch your kids. There are some parents who blow off the games as just games and don't have a second notion that they're kid ain't gonna be leading the next "Doom" murder.
  16. No one will mug em for the Wii. PS3 yeah. Play-asia, lik sang, and a handful other places. Mostly it isn't for games anymore, just memorbilia. I don't buy most of my games anymore =P
  17. Half those keyfactors are the same ones that got him in trouble the past 2 years with alot of things. Including an investigation on his license and a true inquirey on his "statstics." He's a troll and everyone knows! Alot of people say otherwise what happened there. I know G4 is pretty much crap, but atleast it's Canadian counter part is still alot better. EDITZ: they should work on this, a full on debate on G4, like what they did way back when for MP3s and copyright infrigment! good times!
  18. It isn't a prototype, it's a hackjob using 2 controllers.
  19. You do know that you can "subtract" the places you don't want to see by clicking on the - sign right?
  20. Sessler made Jack Thompson his bitch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yREGBKZggwA
  21. Madonna has ripped off Abba for hung up, if she can't write anymore songs than the best option for her is to retire; she had a secured future anyway . Blame Fashion for corupting the Music Industry. I'm sad that people don't support sampling of other's songs. People have been doing it for YEARS and not a single person cared until THIS year.
  22. Sadly it is true what they say about it. Some people are glad that it happened and take none of it back. It's the system that's how we built ourselves as human beings with free will. The justification of Good and Evil are seperate to everyone, differing in views. And thats how I see it. A simple phrase like that is a good seperation and explains alot with saying less. Once again, based on views. Once again, it is my view on how I see it. And if you want me to stand up to a firing squad just because I said that, you're pretty messed in the head and should go to hell because I say so. I R EMPROROROR K`DASH
  23. I like Bianca. The other is a TV hostess/producer.
