  4. I can do magic, it's fun really. Just go up to a person and say "Hey, wanna see a magic trick?" They say yes, you prepare up, AND PUNCH THEM IN THE FACE.
  5. If no one saw the interview with THE REGGINATOR on G4. He said the controller plugs into the Wiimote. NOT The Wii itself. Food for though there. It makes sense, as long as the Wiimote is within IR distance of the bar thingy.
  6. I can't get into the GEN version of Shadowrun, I don't know why. I mucho prefer the SNES version. But I do applaud the GEN verison for being less linear.
  7. Nintendo may not launch Game Boy Advance sequel Thu May 11, 2006 9:26am ET12 By Kiyoshi Takenaka LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Nintendo Co. Ltd. (7974.OS: Quote, Profile, Research) may not launch a new version of its wildly popular Game Boy Advance portable game player so it can focus on the latest hit hand-held machine, the DS. "I would have a second thought about using our resources on what would be the next generation of Game Boy Advance, considering the strong support DS is now enjoying," President Satoru Iwata told Reuters on the first day of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). "The Japanese game market is now evolving around DS. We don't need to do something that will pour cold water on the situation." E3 is an annual trade show for the nearly $30 billion global video game industry. Nintendo, known for games featuring characters such as Donkey Kong, Mario and Pokemon, said a third-party research shows about 16 million of its dual-screened Nintendo DS machines have been sold worldwide, millions more than Sony Corp.'s (6758.T: Quote, Profile, Research) rival PlayStation Portable (PSP) hand-held. Strong demand for DS, and its innovative casual games such as "Nintendogs", in 2005 helped the entire Japanese game market post growth for the first time in five years. Nintendo has sold more than 74 million units of the Game Boy Advance series as of December 2005, cementing the Japanese video game maker's dominance in the portable game machine market. Iwata also said more than 10 software titles will be available in time for the launch of its upcoming game console, Wii, which is set for release in the fourth quarter of 2006 to compete with Microsoft Corp.'s (MSFT.O: Quote, Profile, Research) Xbox 360 and Sony's upcoming PlayStation 3. Although Nintendo dominates the market for hand-held game machines, it trails Sony and Microsoft in the console market. Continue to Reuters.com for the full 2 page article.
  8. Did I mention that Samus' ass is out of this world in this game? because it is. Ohhhh man, IT IS.
  9. Thats true, but it's better on a TV because it will be far away. Then again, whose gonna browse the net on their Wii? Daeval, check out the various new Nintendo stuff for me Nintendo has certainly hyped me up this year like crazy. But theres the usual 360 stuff, such as Gears of War, I also heard that Ninety-Nine-Nights is on the floor http://www.joystiq.com/2006/05/12/ds-impre...rvest-moon-ds1/ I know some of us like Harvest Moon, and I'm glad to see that the next one on DS isn't like how totally we thought would be messed up on the franchise.
  10. I got about 380 bucks saved up from working. All thats is going towards Wii
  11. Nintendo seemingly sneaked this through. May 10, 2006 - Nintendo just pulled a fast one on us. At an after-hours press briefing a mere minute ago, the company pulled another ace out of its sleeve: Super Smash Bros. Brawl -- the next installment in Nintendo's popular Super Smash Bros. series. Shigeru Miyamoto himself has confirmed the following playable characters: # Pit (Kid Icarus) # Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid) # Zero Suit Samus (the blue "no-suit" Samus from Metroid: Zero Mission) # Metaknight (Kirby) # Wario (Wario) Under the direction of series creator Masahiro Sakurai, Super Smash Bros. Brawl will feature classic, GameCube-style combat -- not Wii-style motion-controlled combat. That means players who prefer to play the game with the traditional control setup can look forward to using the GameCube control-style they're already accustomed to. "We found that trying to implement too much motion-sensory functionality can get in the way of the game. We're looking at keeping the control simple, as it has been," said Sakurai. "The Wii hardware has sockets for the GameCube controller, too. So I'll just say now that you may not want to throw away your GCN controller yet." The game also features a range of new nasty toys, such as the ability to unleash a puppy from Nintendogs that will run up to the screen, put its paws up and obscure the view of the action. Mario, Kirby, Pikachu and Link have been confirmed as returning characters. Sakurai confirmed that Wario actually has a fart attack and that Solid Snake can use his trusty cardboard box. In the video trailer, Snake gets out of the box and says "It's showtime!" "We thought a lot about what to do with Snake and his moves in Super Smash Bros. Brawl," said Sakurai. "As you all know Snake walks around with a gun, but with Super Smash Bros. I didn't want to bring in a lot of real weapons. So that was a real challenge. But conversely, if we could use things like rocket launchers and other explosives, not only would that be fitting for Snake, but it would work for the other characters. But who knows. Maybe Snake will exclusively use explosives throughout the game." Sakurai said the decision to include Solid Snake when Hideo Kojima himself practically "begged" to include the Metal Gear character in the last Smash Bros. game. When asked about the possibility of Sonic the Hedgehod appearing in the game as well, Shigeru Miyamoto said: "There are probably possibilities for other third parties as well, and it maybe that even know there are corporate discussions going on about including some of these other characters." Even better, the game will be fully online playable in addition to featuring a robust multiplayer mode. "My plan is to include Wi-Fi connection compatibility and online functionality. One of the primary reasons Super Smash Bros. Brawl was created was that Nintendo, when taking Wii online, wanted to have Smash Bros. to do that," added Sakurai. The bad news is that Super Smash Bros. Brawl will no longer be a Wii launch title, but will instead be released in 2007. Also, it seems Nintendo of Japan has put up a survay on who else should be added to the Work in Progress Wii title. Nobuo Uematsu is also set to do music for the title. Revolution.IGN
  12. The PS controller sticks feel really werid, I've never gotten used to them, even to this day. Sure i still use them, but it's just plain odd to me.
  13. Photoshop, photos, words, bordom, Radiohead fandom, new tour. I give you, my covers for my bootlegz. ~T'son flicka son
  14. Over at the Nintendo booth, contained within a glass case adjacent to the classic shell (revealed earlier by IGN) is a prototype for the "Zapper Style" attachment for the Wii remote. Note that you get a joystick for your thumb and a standard gun-style trigger. Not much to say, but the prototype looks promising. We wouldn't be surprised if this ended up being really close to the final product. Joystiq
  15. In spirit, you can just pretend Deus Ex is ;X

  17. Why can;t they make a RPG instead of changing it to team based FPS?!? I HAVE ENOUGH OF TEAM-BASED FPS! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because they suck and don't see the potential of what a new Shadowrun RPG could mean. I'm sure this team based FPS will be a fine game but it's such a waste of that universe. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Need SHADOWRUN MMORPG. I'd give up my life for that.
  18. That must of gotten alot of applause
  19. Gryph, you and me, all down for some mad gaming when Wii comes out.
