  1. Single player is NOT the way to play this and they pretty much said it in the dev commentary. Fry's is having an in store special on the PC version for 39.99 until closing time at your local fry's.
  2. ^--- post steamid and let's get some games going kiddies.
  3. Why do the fatalities and brutalities look so, so, SO bad? I can think up of some PG13 ones that don't look as terrible and corny, so why are these so bad?
  4. First Birds of Prey, now Blue Beetle! Screw you DiDio.
  5. To be fair, Amano only does illustrations inserts for books and the only works he's done in full have been Sandman: The Dreamhunters and The Redeemer. Dude draws an AWESOME Wolverine and Elektra.
  6. If anything, grinding to levels makes it harder apparently. As bosses will be your level times their base HP equals total HP.
  7. "Ba, ba, ba, ba" said the stupid sheep Keep going you half-assed troll.
  8. After reading the thread, you did some things very poorly. Nearly forcing ram to fit in slots? Take it slow and steady. It'll fit, don't force it. Or you placed them the wrong way, which I doubt. Secondly, do what Cinder said. Triple check if your getting the right ampage into your video card. It maybe be the same card on a technicality, but you never know what changes were made to the board itself.
  9. Please, you are terrible at posting counter retorts, so just do us all a favor and stop posting anything at all on this board. I'm surprised you've survived this long, so go on already, leave. Nobody wants your garbage whimsical non-sense anymore and it's gotten stale for me to admit it. Get off my internet you drunken, delusional halfwit of a public servant.
  10. Right. You just own it because it says "Fallout" on the cover, same reason I own it. For the name on the cover, everything else is secondary (with the exception of the Bobble head, that thing is AWESOME). Just happy that it even has a "3" in the title. Have you even played Tactics? Or even the abysmal Brotherhood of Steel game? Do you even bother to even read? It's terrible writing plain and simple. Now shut up and play your goddamn game and let everyone else talk.
  11. I enjoy the game, but the writing is terrible, I like how the world is visually represented, now if they writing was up to par as the originals, then we got our selves a winner. It's the most common complaint amongest the fanboys who give FO3 a chance. We're OK that the game isn't turn based, OK that we can kill kids, OK that it's FPSRPG. But we can't get over how terrible the writing is. Post something constructive for a change and not just these "NO U" posts.
  12. Vote black, vote Obama. Cuz he'd be yo nigga too.

  14. Canadian. Black for new President.
  15. There isn't level scaling, which is why the level 20 limit works. There are several areas in the game where there are high level enemies, but once you get to level 15+, the game is esscentially in easy mode. The world is actually smaller then Oblivion's, but is filled with more landscape (does this sentence even make sense?) Feels like Fallout 1 and 2! Which is "SCREWED!" Refer to answer #3. Yes, but about 1400 of those were useless, random, "We just walk around and don't really do anything" NPCs. Pretty much yeah, but Bethesda does it terribly job at this and takes a short cut by making it seem you know what the hell parts B and C were to get to D when you don't know what happened at all instead of explaining what B and C were.
  16. In conjunction with other comic-based VS games, Onslaught can be beaten _twice_ by the likes of Chun-Li single-handedly (if not with another partner) where in fact in the comics, it took a myriad of Marvel heroes (some of them dying in the process) in order to destroy Onslaught. Naturally, those uber-godlike feats of heroes/villains have to be toned down in terms of balancing out, to the point that someone can rip off Superman's spine even without the advantage of using kryptonite. Please, everyone knows Magic > Superman. Zatanna can take him to school with her magicks if they were Omega level.
  17. On my second run right now. If you enjoyed Oblivion, you'll enjoy Fallout 3 and it's brand of (Bethesda) humor. But if you enjoyed Fallout 1 & 2, prepare to be disappointed because it doesn't keep the same dark sense of humor and writing as the previous games and we're stuck with a mostly lifeless, under achieved world that had a lot of potential but fell short. The only town with any sort of character of it's own is Megaton, the first town in the game. As such, there are no shades of gray in the game. There's pure good, sugar coated anti-hero and dick. No actual evil path in the game. No child killer reputation. Sure you get bad karma, but it doesn't really mean crap because you can still be an avenger and kill every evil bastard, then go back to killing innocents. The game also suffers from several things that Oblivion suffered from, such as a majority of skills and perks being utterly and completely useless, emotionless animations and models and once again, we have a gimped version of Radiant AI. Laziness in coding pathways shows too, as some quest NPCs seemlessly die randomly because of waypoint errors. Also, import NPCs still exist. So if you want to go on a killing spree, they'll come back to life and hunt you down. Thankfully it can be turned off with; bForceReloadOnEssentialCharacterDeath=0 bEssentialTakeNoDamage=0 But killing children is still impossible. Bethesda released it in good spirit, but cannot shake the nagging nerve that the game is really an MMORPG but without the MMO applied. You do quests and level and beat the game. There is no New Game+ or a way to continue any left over quests either after you beat the game. You have to do it all before doing the main quest. It's very possible to completely skip most of the side quests and just grind it out to level 15 and beat the game in 8 hours. VATS is terribly fun though, so points to that. It's a fighting aid (basically from medium to short range "I-Win mode") and not a gameplay mechanic to make it seem like it's turn based. Nope, it isn't. The world, as visually impressive as it is, is mostly filled with boring, unmemorable and emotionless characters. I am OK with the fact it's an FPSRPG, I'm OK with the fact you can't kill kids (there are morals about that), I'm OK with the fact the AI is gimped and that it game is really just Oblivion with guns, I'm NOT OK with them adding their brand of witless, uninspiring and for intent and purpose, "Bethesda" humor. It's terrible writing. The game, as a whole, is enjoyable, but if your coming in and hoping that it's a successor to Fallout 1 and 2, you'll end up being several disappointed. You'd think with it's freeform sandbox gameplay it would hold true to the original Fallouts, but terrible writing hold it all back. Just plain laziness on Bethesda's part to make a complete game with all the bells and whistles of the originals. I do give props to the Inon Zur, most of the music is good. We just need the god damn SDK to come out so people like me can completely flock up the world.
  18. If it came out on PC, probably. Otherwise no, all DLContent must be akin to game's original rating. They aren't using the same engine. They licensed U3's engine and made significant adjustments to make it into a fighting game engine.
  19. Mandatory Post: Never coming out. On the flip side; Please, please, PLEASE don't be like Daikitana.
  20. You'd think after EA and Harmonix got all the BS at them with their faulty equipment, Activision and co would of stepped up their QA for GHWT. Im too poor to afford GHWT atm.
  21. Looks like I might end up keeping the 360 version of Failout 3. I am quiet surprised that I am enjoying it ala max.
  22. Im hyped. Loved AONNOG (their last release) and this one is shaping up to be win.
  23. Hal never really came back to life, you know. The Hal that's currently running around the DCU is only a construct given form and thought by the Guardians. After Hal's spirit was severed from the Spectre, it was thrown beyond the multiverse, into a place where space and time have no meaning, there it drifted for an eternal instant before finally finding its way to a world strangely similar to the one he knew, yet very different. In time, Hal's spirit drifted to an air force base, one of the few places in this new world that was unchanged. There, he found Joseph Danvers, a man who reminded Hal much of his own father. Hal soon became an emotionally involved spectator in the lives of Joseph and his wife Marie. Before long, Hal saw in the young couple an opportunity for a new life, and a chance for redemption. Some time later, the Danvers were gifted with the birth of a beautiful baby girl. She'd grow up to be quite the tomboy, a decorated air force pilot, and a real pain in her father's ass. Marie never knew why she named her daughter Carol. Only that something inside of her knew it was somehow fitting. She couldn't have realized that her unborn child had named herself, honoring the great love of a former life.
  24. I am way to lazy to make my offline account, an online one.
