  1. IMO this website has the worst catch phrase ever. It looks so cheesy on everything.
  2. Ipod also doubles as a mini-hard drive too. But mine is litterly filled with music.
  3. Note: The ones we've seen. They've been adding more and more characters from Namco games that most of the world don't know exist.
  4. UT2k4's music player takes both OGG and MP3. So your existing collection will work.
  5. I scream "Jin-Roh" when I first saw that.
  6. It is japanese. I need to link my source somewhere. Iggy does everything. I just "spread" the word.
  7. I want to see it in the arcade actually. After recovering what was once lost, playing it, with a really good stick, is awesome. damn asian dudes! with thier leet gaming skillz and math. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I fail at math. Old™ jk <{POST_SNAPBACK}> English source is where? This is actually confirmed news that there will be NO arcade version, at all, not even in Japan, of all places. Remember before? It was in the "considering" stage. Now it's offical. No arcade version, at all. That means no balance. Hey, why not say this. They also shut down the fact that there will be no guest characters at all. Dante is out the window and into the streets in the backally of Sin City. Where he lies, DEAD.
  8. Recently, Namco's been putting in more and more obscure characters and seeing it released in either Europe or America is now pure speculation. Seeing this as a Japan-Only deal wouldn't be too surprising.
  9. It's happened. No arcade release, not even in Japan. Even with the great success of Tekken 5 in both sides of teh globe. No netplay, no arcade, they can save time on balance and just release it now and hope for the best.
  10. No, AI was good for Quake III and UT. It's just been improved since then. It in no way shape or form sucked ASS. But I have faith in Raven to make the game awesome. From CyClones to Jedi Academy, almost everything they've done is great. I found some sketch art and extremely high poly models for Quake IV on my computer (I've had them for a while) and they look awesome. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Raven's track record is still good. When ever I think of Raven, I think of that quote that was said at QuakeCon. "Are the women hot in Dallas?" That has no relvence to this thread, but it just reminds me of that panel.
  11. Old and Slow My odd names and random posts contain news on many things that I care about. Oddly yes, I do care about this.
  12. Actually it is. Compared to UT, the stockmaps hold enough to encourage 1 v 1 in a large enviorment with the tightest quaters. IMO Quake III 1v1 is still much funner then UT2k3/4's. Mostly because I can own.
  13. She had a kid and still plays ut from time to time telling from her forum.
  14. Both are equally as fun.
  15. why would u save your change for a ps2 to but in late 2005 when the xbox 2 will be out and ps3 will soon be around the corner.. Can u say waste of money? Anyways hopefully SC3 wont be exclusive for ever... if so I wont be touching it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> PS2 exclusive for the remainding months of 2005. Then possibly an aracde and multiplatform release afterwards. Because a bunch(by bunch, I mean alot of people) want it to come out on at the arcade so we can like, get out. Added something about n_v_c somewhere up there.
  16. Soul Calibur 3 Screenies. Magic-box steals news from others, now I steal news from them. Vicious circle. I also steal from other sources. Check dat sheit out =o
  17. In short, no. Quake 3 was made in response to (in order to capitalize on) widespread online gaming. QuakeWorld, a special internet optimized version of Quake 1, was the game that spawned GameSpy (Then called QSpy). Mods for Quake 1, most notably threewave CTF and the original TeamFortress, got pretty big online and the community was that much larger. The rest is history. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> At the time, Q1 did have an amazing community, then with the release of Quake II, more and more (some of the best of their time) mods started appearing into the light. It was in 2000 when Half-Life took Quake 2's "Best engine to mod on" with the advent of Counter-Strike Retail and Day of Defeat beta. But Quake 2 revolutionized the modding community because we all know, the single player sucked.
  18. Hey, the last time I checked, James has a 1Emulation sig too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But his is cool.
  19. Go buy it. The manga is being released by Viz Ent. Go to your local Barns & Nobles.
  20. "Year of tha Bommer-rang" Rage Against The Machine
  21. They re-optimized the Doom 3 engine for multiplayer and singleplayer massivly for the game showing off that it CAN have outdoor areas, and that it can have MULITIPLE enemies on screen with projecticles.
  22. Quake 3, the first FPS game I actually got serious about now. Now I can't wait for Quake IV's Single and Multi.
