  1. There needs to be more Greyhawk D&D games, ToeE doesn't cut it enough.
  2. Holy crap, it comes out tomorrow. I just saw the special edition pack at ebgames.com. I'm going over to the store soon and putting a reservation. I'm mostly doing this because I want the stick and the art book. I could careless about everything else. Edit: Done, I am now broke for the next 5 months.
  3. I saw pictures of Asuka's ending. Jin really likes his cousin.
  4. Seriously...I think it's your video card. Up till about a month ago, I'd been using 7 year old ibm (amd k6 300mhz 64mb ram) and it had an ATI Rage II 2mbs graphics card!! It ran kawaks and other emu's perfectly. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think I had the same card on my old machine, but I think it had 1MB of memory... Needless to say, the only thing I could ever get in 3D was the spinnig cube in the Direct3D test. Coupling it with a Voodoo 1 helped a bunch though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> SLI Voodoos = the win!
  5. He needs a new sarcasm detector. Or an upgrade.
  6. Wasn't something called Blood Riddence or something similar along those lines based on Ravenloft? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm...I will try to hunt that down. I actually have not heard of that game. Is that one of those old ones released by SSI or is it recent? If it's SSI then I probably missed out on it since there were quite a few. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, it's an old school SSI game. I know the name is somewhere along those lines. I've actually tried it on my uncle's computer when I was a wee little DM.
  7. Not all. But these days you'll see maybe 3 or 4 non-bootable games. As most have been converted to being bootable.
  8. I think it's safe to say that anyone who says this doesn't bring anything to the table. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, it's his way of saying he likes both, but considers them different enough that they don't overlap to him. That's valid, even in the context of a comparison. You have to consider the "they don't compare" response. Unless he's actually trying to get us to stop the conversation, in which case we can string the fascist up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Let's string him up anyways.
  9. The rumor is actually true. But from what I hear, no save options for them!
  10. I think it's safe to say that anyone who says this doesn't bring anything to the table.
  11. DVD movies most likely their talking about.
  12. Wasn't something called Blood Riddence or something similar along those lines based on Ravenloft?
  13. But that costs money My friend bought the new slim ps2 yesterday and I was quite impressed with it. On the side of the box it says it supports DVD+R/-R. I know this might be a stupid question but does that mean you don't need a mod chip to play backup games? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually it doesn't. It's a simple process DYIers, google a FAQ for it, it's simple. And what they mean is you can play media burned onto DVD-+Rs on it.
  14. Usually, for these click click click problems, adjusting the laser and roater fixes it.
  15. Try using them in Chankast or use a CD-RW. Most times they are labled if they are or not.
  16. Try looking for the BG1 expansion, as far as it's concern, it seems it isn't as wide spread. I got my copy right here. I think it's called Swords of the Coast.
  17. Nothing beats the original D&D. Personally, BG1 > BG2, I've never really known why, even though their both practically the same thing, I just never got used to BG2. it took a while to get used ToeE. But it was fun somewhat. Yo gryph, hook a brotha up =D
  18. Ys....oh man, I heared the messed up the re-release on the PSP, taking out some stuff from it as oppose to adding more in. imma hit the warez question soon. Been meaning to check out the PC version.
  19. Your (very attractive) sig is gone! My good friend Ed had a small encounter with her. I think she almost took his head off last year at E3. Anyways, now a days, you see the same stuff with practically little to barely visable variation now in Eastern RPGs (although their are some that do get thru being original, sorry folks, StratRPGs don't count). Although I have been seeing the basic D&D system implamented some how in every Western one, they do some pretty neat tricks to them.
  20. Theres your problem, if you warezed this game, then you don't have that file to hear anything! (I assume the sound effects work anyways). 2 Ways you can solve this, either go out and buy the game, or find the actual file FOR the game.
  21. It's not neccessary Thai. But I dun like it. Make my teeth hurt with hot and cold at the same time <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dude, like, wtf? Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. The pasta is optional but it works well. If you're going to try and go no-pasta, stir-fry style, I would definately reduce the amount of sauce ingredients. This recipe will result in a slightly soupy sauce that does a good job of coating the noodles, but would be kind of weird to eat on its own. I haven't tried it yet, but this would probably also work well over rice. I would think a dry, long grain rice would be better than a sticky variety, but I'm not a chef by trade. You could also leave out the chicken and reduce the proportions to get a good vegetables-and-noodles side dish. Sliced red peppers or sprouts might do well in this as well. Let me know how it turns out! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe I'll try experminting with more then just pasta stuff. Maybe various types of rice, give more or less make it like a stew possibly. I hate cooking, but experminting is fun as hell, especially when you have to eat force it with at others.
