  1. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/37641.html WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CRAP?
  2. I will never stop being an arrogant person just to satisfy the intrawebs. So you can take your opinion and make like the wind, and get out. No.
  3. This explanation is necessary because your half-wit mind doesn't comprehend that on a technical level, 2.5 dimensions is IMPOSSIBLE. There for it's doesn't exist. Do HALF dimensions exist? No. It's theoretically impossible to have in the first place. Hence it's a term to a gameplay perspective, not an actual dimensional plane of existence. There is no in between dimensions. The game is 3D, plane and simple. The gameplay is 2D. That's the difference. 2.5D is, like I said, a term that was developed because the gameplay was 2D. The plane of play is only left to right and up to down, the 2nd dimension. Like paper, the dimension is flat. Can you make paper 3D? Can you make paper 2.5D? No, you can't. Pseudo-3D? You know what's that? Pre-rendered backgrounds with pre-renders sprites on screen to give it the feel of 3D, such as the SNES port of Killer Instinct and Donkey Kong Country. l2physics buddy (see, now this WHOLE post and yours wasn't necessary, but we both did it anyways)
  4. I do want 54 characters, but fuking balance them out. Name another game that has at least 35+ characters and has been moderately balanced that everyone has a fighting chance against each other. MAH-VELL had a very limited run when released on PS2 and it was only until it was out of print it was in high demand (selling for 100 dollars now compared to 2 years ago when it barely hit 60). 2D has, from the looks of the general consensus, died. Mind you that's the art style of the game, however, if the gameplay was 2D (like Battle Fantasia, SF4, TvC) then it would appeal to more massive audience other than the core group of MAH-VELL players. I could careless for MAH-VELL other than the fact it produces great drama in the scene (dp mouthing off against WC) and it's fun as hell to watch (jwong comebacks baby! yipes commentary also) but not to play (their using Cable/Pysk/Set against your crappy team of Jill/Ruby/Amigo T_T). On that note, has ANYONE tried Battle Fantasia yet? It's like GGXX in 3D. 2.5D doesn't exist, it's a term created to cater games that are in 3D, but play in a strictly 2D plane of gameplay. Also known as "No Side Stepping".
  5. Good, I don't want 54 characters where only 6 of them are used.
  6. More animation and characters to do. The easy part is doing all the effects !
  7. More like Marvel vs. Capcom 2 HD Remix amirite?
  8. Movie sucked, only redeeming and best feature was, the Joker. If he wasn't in a scene, the scene sucked. Because whenever he popped up, the scene was gold.
  9. Definately skipping then, I hate the way SC3 plays now compared to when I first got it.
  10. "I just like to think the United States as another province."
  11. Namco's probably too lazy to port it beyond the fact it would benifit it's online strcuture Live. The game has always been first and for most developed for arcades on Playstation-arcade like hardware, which is usually developed by them. But from my understanding, they didn't even bother making a new arcade machine for T6 and just took a PS3 and added more ram modules to it. Unlike SC series, which has jumped ship from the old classic PS1-arcade hardware to Naomi too PS2-Arcade to plainly just having console releases with an arcade port down the line eventually. I personally hate that practice, sure we can get bug fixes and balance fixes, but when it has to rely on it's online play to FIND bugs and balance problems, that irks my hide. At least Capcom knows what their doing, they know the core arcade demographic is in Japan, they know arcades are for the most part dead in North America and their playing their cards rights.
  12. Canadian notes are still being taken at toll booths I believe across the U.S. It's still cheaper too playing in Canadian dollars for it.
  13. Well the fanboys for one. Plus, if it hits the 360 you can get/receive beat downs on Live instead Tekken holds the same stance I have with SC and VF5. Arcade only, latency IS a big deal to me for those games. Also considering the less then steller time I had with VF5 leaves to me to kill people, possible even genocide. DoA4 is probably the ONLY 3D fighting game with decent online play.
  14. Fingers crossed the textures will improve before release. I had thought they would go the route of smaller more confined areas to maximise the impact of (more than likely) reduced zombie numbers. As someone said though, Nintendo aside, Capcom are probably the most capable of exceeding the Wii's graphical limitations. Increasing texture size & quality = Lower frame rate ! They need to make them as good as possible at the lowest possible method to do it.
  15. Who cares, I play Tekken at the arcade. At home is free CPU beat downs.
  16. Old school Final Fantasys > New school Fantasys. Just because 7 is overrated doesn't mean it's good by any means.

  18. Thank jesus we still have Leo and the revamped Call for Help :3 Well it's called The Lab with Leo now after they moved production from Toronto to Vancouver. DAMN I love G4 TechTV Canada. Yes we still call it that here.
  19. Pedal doesn't count on both of them because the difference is in the pads, their configuration and game registry.
  20. Yup, the difference between the two is mostly in number crunching. (oh that and the fact both run different GPUs).
  21. GHWT has 5, RB/RB2 has 4. What Neversoft did was run a check on which USB set is hooked up, if it's the Rock Band/RB2 set, it'll automatically adjust itself to it. It's unknown at this time if WT set <> Rock Band 2 will be supported. Since Neversoft is playing nice (more like everyone bitched at them when PS3 RB guitars didn't work at all with 3 got gimped by Act. I guess they more or less HAVE too, but this is just for the 360 version since theres an open standard on all the guitars on the market)
