  1. Also telling by the crazy amount of quality loss from SWF to GIF.
  2. I'm on a roll today aren't I? MAD PROPS TO SEGA. Seriously, mad props for bring over a friking dating sim as a launch title. Anyways Source for anything I find within the next 24 hours on the nDS is from Penny-Arcade's (suprisingly realible and non-fanboyish) fourm. Just another note: I Troll The Intarweb.
  3. Shonen Jump! Super Stars Battle for nDS. Various characters found in the Shonen Jump! Monthly/bi-weekly/when-ever-it-comes-out-over-there magazine will have a fighter! Featuring characters from Naruto(!), Dragonball(boo), One Peice(!) and various other mangas. These series currently hold position on charcaters to be in or stated other wise, but aren't limited to these series alone; Dragonball One Piece Naruto Yu-Gi-Oh Hikaru no Go Rurouni Kenshin Knights of the Zodiac Hunter X Hunter Yu Yu Hakusho Prince of Tennis Kinnikuman Shaman King Slam Dunk ------------ The list of course is much bigger. Manga fans are gonna have a feild day on this.
  4. The way to beat that is to do it from an external program then recolor it.
  5. I play Rome: Total War. Plays like Civ, execpt it's sexy and...like civ.
  6. ....... ........ goatse. ..... Owned the world for 30 minutes on CNN.com
  7. ...in Japan. One of the biggest problems of the system in Japan was it's size. They'll be fixing this problem with M$'s next console system. Sad to say that True Live Fantasy, which I would of begged for money to get an Xbox + Live + That game.
  8. In my honest opinon, saving 1 or 2 millimeters as Sony's way of screwing the PS2 owns who plan to get this. They look pretty much alike, but those 1-2 millimeters is pretty stupid since the orignal PS2 controllers still fit. another pic
  9. The jump and landing needs some work, but it's pretty cool.
  10. Gonna wait for the Gamecube version - More stuff then you can shake a stick at. No onlineplay, but yeah.
  11. Meh, it's not important. There is no need to understand such trivialities. Mr. Karate Ryo is much different from Mr. Karate Takuma (!). Both between personality(Yes, he HAS one now) and move set (No FBs at all, this aint WA Ryo, this is Buriki One Ryo) and his intro is from Both WA and B1 (complete with different color GI, he laughs ala Mr.Karate then removes his mask). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Can you explain in more detail what u mean by WA Ryo and Buriki One etc. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mr. Karate Ryo took over his father's status after he died.....or something... Anyways the main difference between the WA and B1 versions is he has no fireball AT ALL in B1 (more realistically speaking since it was something like UFC) and has a more mature look and personality.
  12. Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition Release date: 1999 Platform: Neo-Geo Hyper 64, ported to Sony Playstation Characters in the game are: -ANDY BOGARD -BILLY KANE -GEESE HOWARD -JOE HIGASHI -KIM KAPHWAN -MAI SHIRANUI -RAIDEN -RYUJI YAMAZAKI -TERRY BOGARD -TOJI SAKATA -TSUGUMI SENDO -XIANGFEI LI -Duck King (Hidden) -Mr.KARATE (Hidden) Notes: This was the first 3D incarnation of the Fatal Fury series. Plays very well, just the representation of the game needed tons of work. Buriki One: World Grapple Tournament '99 in Tokyo Release date: 1999 Platform: Neo-Geo Hyper 64 Characters: Akatsuki Maru Gai Tendou Ivan Sokolov Jacques Ducalis Patrick Van Heyting Payak Shipitak Rob Python Ryo Sakazaki Song Xuan Dao Syo Yong Song Takato Saionji Silver (Final Boss) Notes: This game wasn't your avarage fighter. This game could of been one of the marks for the UFC games in `99. Using a very complexed but easy to use fighting control system, users used moves based on real life controls (with the execption of Ryo, who had all of his old moves, a new look (he looks like about 50-something) and sans fireball moves at all). This is possibly one of the most underrated games of `99 and on the Neo-Geo Hyper 64.
  13. Nor is her chest. DAMNIT. Damn you Cero and ESRB! Anyways, compared to the arcade version, the only thing that is needed for *perfect* arcade conversion is the original resoultion for the sprites and Urien's gay Aegis Refelctor crap.
  14. I didn't know that. In fact, I've never actually seen any info on Yuki. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When LB games came out there was more then 10 guys at Yuki, there was about maybe 30-35. Now that was the team, now it's been reduced to 10 people.
  15. Over here they show off 2 new test models, both of them are pretty close to final. We all know you need to buy a new Mulititap for those 4 player games, but now, what if your upgrading from your (Assuming dead) PS2 to a PSTwo? Not only that, your controllers still work, but these new PSTwo units require a different type of memory card(or once I get the unit, i shall find a way to mod my current memory cards so it can work on the PStwo)! I kid you not. You need to purchuse a new memory card. As the older PS2 cards, DON'T FIT! Theres is also a concern that these new PSTwo memory cards won't be backward compatible. So PS2 owners are royally fscked by Sony. Take alook at the pics in the link.
  16. I was 4 at the time SFII came out kthx. SFII started off development in roughly around the end of 1988 and wasn't released until `91. The main reason it didn't come out early was because they felt the character roster was pale. Most of the designers either were writers, freelance or otherwise or artists (AKIMAN and Eiji for example were just guys drawing before they got picked up by their respected companies) or others from other Capcom divisions.
  17. I AM doing better myself, that's the whole frickin' point. Do you not remember I'm a designer myself? That's why I get p!ssed and point out stuff like this. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know you are one, but what have you done that has gotten any attention yet at all? Nothing. Exactly my point, wheres the proof to back that up. Nowhere. As of right now until you do something constructive with that designer status your nothing.
  18. Do better your self then. Cuz thats what I say to people who whine about something all the time <INSERT INPUT LAG JOKE HERE>. Seriously, do something, all you do is whine about why this character looks like a little child blah blah blah.
  19. Seriously, do some research on the chracaters insted of b!tching how "bad" they're designed in your view.
  20. I already know how it is. SNK don't. Nothing you can say can convince me that they didn't completely miss-hit with this character. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> COUNTER-RETORT Yes, SNK does know. The character designer for him was a big Lucha Libre wrestling fan and he was specifically made for the 2nd most popular Neo-Geo spot (South America). I'm not convincing you, even though you are wrong.
  21. Shin Mr. Karate & Mr. Karate is Takuma. When Ryo actually aged in Wild Ambition and Burki One, he became the new Mr. Karate. And seeing Mr. Karate Ryo in NGBC gives me hope THAT THEY WILL ACTUALLY START AGING CHARCATERS IN KOF.
  22. Sammy nor System Arc Limited did the PC port. it was KiteMedia that did it. They oursourced the code to KM to port it to the PC. BTW Neowave sucks. Not even Zombie Terry can save it. Yes I've played it. The jap cabs are much better imo, the one sammy is bringing over to US/Mexico is crappy.
  23. Ramon is a rubbish character and a complete waste of a good idea. Which was supposed to be "Lucha Libre" but isn't anything like. His design isn't what gets my goat, he looks more like Justin Timberlake than a wrestler, BUT it's the fact that he has no moves whatsoever and is poorly researched. His "moves" - A 'back-off' move (god knows what that's for), A back-off into dropkick, a badly animated grab (his nowhere near good enough version of a 360), a sobat back-kick and a somersault that also does nothing. His supers are both acceptable but who cares? He sticks to hardly any of the ideas or concepts that he was supposed to and is "just another fighter" and one with NO MOVES at that.... He was a cool concept that was thrown out the window by SNK's stupidity/laziness. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aha ha ha ha ha ha ha...noWatch some real Lucha.
  24. IGN Reviewed Mortal Kombat: Deception (Funky title imo) and gave it a good score. It can be read here. If you think about it, Stage fatalities are just a really flashy ring out =D. I'm certainly getting this game, because of it's replayablity! psst, read the better gamespot review here Tales of Eternia is the next game in the "Tales of...' saga taking it online! Testing begins in early 2005 in Japan, Korea and Taiwan It seems the recent news about the PSP getting 3 packages is currently unconfirmed. But it seems someone needed to add fire to the PSP vs DS Price wars (debates of it's authenticty are going on about the "scan" along with the orignal source). I mentioned about Metroid shipping with DS right? Cuz I don't recall, but a few titles are being speculated coming out on dS-day. Mario 64 X4 and Mario Power Tennis are speculated. In my honest opinon, Nintendo needs better marketing to make this system appel more to the "Other" crowed. Analysts predict that the PSP might get delayed until 11/2005. Wait...since when were analysts correct?... Release date thingy: MK: Deception - Should be out now THUG2 - Same Capcom Fighting Jam - 10/08 (3 days until it's out in JP) / 11/12 USA PS2+Xbox(Under "Capcom Fighting Evolution") / 12/2 Japan PS2+Xbox Neowave American release - TBA (Special note, if you see this cab, please kick it for me.) SNK Neo Geo Battle Colliseum - 12/TBA Tekken 5 beta test vids are awesome.
