If you are running with Ultra Quality then I MIGHT be able to play it somewhat decently. I'll probably have like a 10 fps difference though... Ultra Quality = Bad for MP.

That is most likely an OEM vender package. Most of them don't work on other computer's then the original owner's.

No HDD = that will make the Unit's size bigger unless they use Laptop HDD's or their new "Flash" drives. The most practical reason why M$ will most likely ditch the HDD idea is because you can do so many (illegal) things with it.

Carmack said that the Dual CPU thing is just plain bad because it requires 2 types of code to go in and out, sure, their's "H.T."(referring to Intel's Hyper Threading and AMD's Hyper Trasnport) technology out, but that runs on SLI then the much different Dual CPU's code. Quake 3 wasn't that great on Dual CPU IMO. Side note: ULTRA QUALITY WOOT WOOT! FOR MEH! Only lag when I open doors!

Their isn't any noticable lag in general, but when those monsters start coming and start going over 10, be prepared, you might lag depending on the effects being thrown at you. But, during the game, their will be some parts where it feels like your FPS drops to like 3. This of course could be a driver issue, but I'd like to avoid Betas of ATi's drivers. Expect a D3 patch soon.

Hmm, possibly try getting something called Media Player Classic. That should work.
